Here are some pics of my saltwater tank.
The tank shown is a 45 gallon set up. If you are interested in keeping salt water aquarium's and would like information on keeping healthy corals drop me an email and I will be glad to give you my 2 cents worth.
Filtering and lighting are two key factors in keeping healthy coral's in a salt water system. The tank pictured had an Ice Cap ballast and 4 - 95 vho watt lights. Thats right 4 - 95 watt lights. You will see the light set up on down this page. Lights were on a timer and ran 10 hrs per day. I also ran a small protien skimmer.
The tank shown was 2 1/2 years old and had over 25 pieces of live coral in it,when these pictures were taken.

At right is the light set up. Bulbs should be replaced every 8-10 months.
I tried AQUA lights in the system but they tend to make the algae grow to fast.
Ultraviolet Resources International is the bulbs that I prefer.
