Sugar Cookies submitted by ngunga

Ingredients:
2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter ( I use Land O Lakes unsalted)
2 eggs beaten
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tbs milk
  *Preheat oven to 375 degrees*
Blend butter till creamy, add sugar slowly till well incorporated. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla till blended. Sift flour, salt, and baking powder together. Add to wet ingredients until dough forms. Roll out on floured cutting board and cut into your favorite shapes. Bake till barely brown on edges, remove from baking sheet and allow to cool. I make Christmas, Valentine, and Easter shapes. You can also use small amount of food coloring to dye the dough for something different, like making red valentine cookies and decorating the tops of hot cookies with red sugar crystals. You can also make confectioners icing and dye it to decorate the cookies with. Or what the heck, just add sugar to the tops of them and call it quits. :) Anyway, hope ya like them if ya try them....*Enjoy!*
Thanks, Ellen aka ngunga

Java's Grainy Dijon Chicken

Ingredients:
16 chicken tenderloins (just the tenderloin part of the chix....not the entire breast, however 4 tenderloins would count as approximately 1 breast .....boneless and skinless)
3 Tbs. grey poupon country dijon mustard....(the textured one...with the speckles in it)
3 Tbs honey
11/2 tsp soy sauce
salt, pepper and garlic powder
Mix mustard, honey and soy sauce in a bowl..... place cleaned thawed (if ya use the frozen bags of chicken tenderloins) in a GLASS baking dish. you should be able to fit 16 tenderloins in it, since theyre skinny and can squeeze together. spoon about 3 TBS of the mustard mixture onto chicken and spread to cover. sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder. save remaining mixture and refridgerate.
Let chicken marinate in fridge for a minimum of 20 minutes......longer is better.
Heat broiler for 10 min.....then place tenderloins on broiler pan.....and spoon the rest of the mustard mixture over chicken broil on the second level down from broiler coil......for 10 to 15 minutes....i only do it for 13 minutes....in my oven....but u have to watch these.....otherwise they will burn.
They are wonderful.....note, i have not done this recipe using a whole chicken breast....so im not sure if it would cook all the way through in only 13 minutes....but using the tenderloins, they come out great! hope you like them.....java :))
