William was a Farmer in the Kiser Lake area.

Obituary reads - William P. Ledrick departed this life on June 5, 1939. He was the son of Jacob and Arminta Ledrick, and was born on Oct. 19, 1868, at Millerstown, Ohio, and had reached the age of 70 years, 7 months, and 17 days.

He was united in marriage to Mary Caroline Longbrake, who preceded him in death on Aug. 14, 1912. To this union was born seven children, Mrs. Frank Patterson, Capac, Michigan, Mrs. James Evans, Sidney, Ohio, Mrs. George Lee, Toledo, Ohio, Alva Ledrick, Bellefontaine, Ohio, and Maynard Ledrick, Toledo, Ohio. Two who have preceded him in death, were Cora May and Omer Elroy Ledrick.

On Dec. 26, 1926, he was united in marriage to Hazel Comer. To this union was born two children, Mary Roberta and Billy Ledrick, both living.

Besides the wife there are eight grandchildren, one who has preceded him in death, Robert, the son of Omer Elroy Ledrick. There are five step-children and one step-grandson. Two, who were raised in the home, were Mrs. Dorothy Fenneken, of Columbus, and Cletus at home. He leaves five brothers and three sisters, John Ledrick, deceased, Mrs. Mary Hedges, Columbus, Montana, Elmer Ledrick, Pittsburg, Penn., Frank Ledrick, St. Paris, Mrs. Alva Pitts, Ashtabula, Ohio, Lilly Ledrick, unkown, Charley Ledrick, Circleville, Ohio.

He accepted Christ as his guide and saviour and was a member of the Christian Church, at Carysville, Ohio. He was always a devoted husband and father in home. A faithful worker and helper among the sick. He will long be remembered by friends and neighbors by his cheerful disposition, and as one who was always ready to help when help was needed.

Funeral services were held at the M.P. Church, in Pickerelltown, Ohio, at 1:30pm., and then at the Christian Church, at Carysville, Ohio, conducted by Rev. James Parks, of Pickrelltown. Burial in Rosedale Cemetary, at Carysville, Ohio.
