Analytical/Problem solving skills
In mineral processing industry grinding consumes 90 % of the total energy required. I had the task to create a model which will help in designing a more efficient grinding machine.
I created a deterministic model for simulating the charge motion of an oscillating ball mill using discrete element method. I used this model, simulated many conditions and analyzed the data to reach a recommended prototype for the energy efficient machine.
This model is on computer now and my recommended prototype is currently under design.
