Why move? Huh, I thought you'd never ask. For as long as I can remember I either wanted to be a rock star, a famous scientist, or my dad. Throughout college I had thought that what I had wanted to do was to help my father run his business, Smith & Company Real Estate, upon leaving the wonderful hallowed halls of higher eduction, I set about to do exactly that. In retrospect there are a lot of things I might have done differently, but as it turns out I sold Real Estate for about three years. During this time I decided that it wasn't as much fun as my dad had made it look. Additionally I was begining to realize that I didn't want to live in such a small town... at least not at my age.
Where would I be going? Well, my younger (and only) brother Justin had recently graduated from Hillsdale College. Though he was offered several scholorships to various lawschools he chose Case Western Reserve School of Law. (by most accounts the most prestigous law school in Ohio) I am still not sure why he choose Ohio, but I am now glad he did. See, he was living in Cleveland, and I had visited a couple of times already and I really liked the place, he was even in search of a roomate at the moment... you can see where this is going right?
So here I am, living in a Suburb of Cleveland called Sagamore Hills. I stumbled across a great job as a Technical Support Coordinator for Rockwell Software. (I found that I have an inate ability to understand computers during my real estate career) I really enjoy living in Cleveland so far, exploring all the things there are to do here. So all in all things have pretty much fallen into place. Still, I think I am going through some kind of significant change right now... reviewing goals, hopes, dreams, etc... before I wax too philisophical I'll let you know, I have taken to calling it my "Quarter Life Crisis" and I have decided to write a book about it.
Anyhow, that is all for now, stay tuned to the site.. changes will be
almost daily.
