Corky St. Clair comes to Blaine after many theater experiences in Off-Off-Off-Off-Off Broadway productions in New York City. He now works as the drama teacher at our local high school, but is well known in the community for founding the Blaine Community Players, with whom he put on highly successful productions such as "Barefoot in the Park" and of course, "Backdraft". With "Backdraft", Corky stimulated the audience's imaginations with actual flames and smoke. Although the theater burned down ("Theater burns, Dozens Flee", Blaine Bugle), it made for a wonderful night of theater!! Corky then went on to his shining moment with "Red, White, and Blaine", his celebration of Blaine's proud history as the heart of the country. We love you Corky.
