On Saturday, November 8th, the CHS Varsity cross country girls participated in the Region 5A meet. Risa Rutland placed 8th at the meet. Risa has earned a trip to the state meet in Austin. Loral O'hara got a time of 12:20, while Allison Timberlake, Shanelle Woolridge, Joanna Green, Trisha, and Anngela Falcon got times of 12:53, 14:00, 12:36, 13:00, 13:04 for the two mile race. Also running at the Regional meet was Varsity Boy's Stephen Thompson who got a discouraging 24th, with a time of about 17:00.
