I am a 47 year old Englishman. I was born in Cambridge, England, where the famous university is.
I currently live 23 miles away from Cambridge, just over the Suffolk border in Mildenhall, near to Bury St. Edmunds.
This part of the UK is referred to as East Anglia.
I am an I.T. 'all-rounder' currently seeking more challenging, and better paid employment. I would be interested in user
support, software testing, database administration, or even programming roles. If you think you may have a job for me then
please take a look at my C.V.
One of my major hobbies is football. I haven't played for ages, and I'm getting too old now.
However I do go to see matches often. I am a season ticket holder and also a share holder at the Blue Square Premier
club Cambridge United F.C. I much prefer seeing a live match to watching one
on television.
Another of my hobbies is also football related, collecting memorabilia. I collect programmes, tickets, cards and
badges.
I am keen on music. However I am stuck in a bit of
a time warp preferring punk rock, old style reggae, and
soul, although I do like some more modern stuff.
In the 1980's I played drums in a band, our proudest moment was supporting New Order.
I like to visit different countries, but I hate the process of actually travelling. I am not frightened of flying
on aircraft but I find it very boring and uncomfortable. I have been to several European countries including Russia, Poland and
Bulgaria; I have visited Senegal and Gambia in Africa; Japan, Thailand, Turkey and The Philippines in Asia; and New York in the U.S.A.
