Noa Kanamemi

Age:22

Personnel Duty:Residential Counselor

Physical Appearence:Noa is quite pretty, sporting blonde braided hair, blue eyes, and a very warm smile. Her mere presence is actually relaxing, whether she wants it to be or not.

Outward Personality:Ever the Will Rogers-esque humanitarian, Noa has a maternal streak a mile wide. Given that the Project Orpheus youth's lack any sort of parental figure, she often views herself in that role. This both a welcome and annoying trait, since anyone in this situation can use some parental guidance, but she lays it on just a little TOO thick at times.

Inward Personality:She'd never show it, but she is always anxiety ridden about the children and is in constant fear that she will lose them like she did her actual child 6 years ago. If caught alone, Noa will be seen jittery, nervous, and a little paranoid when it comes to the youth's well being.

Background:Noa made a lot of mistakes when she started out in life. She was regarded as a problem child in school and although her grades were good, her conduct was questionable at best. Her teens were spent going from bed to bed to bed, and always coming out disappointed. The wake up call came after she was 16 and became involved with a controlling and abusive lover. After years of missing th bullet, Noa became pregnant by the hellion, and rather than take the risk and responsibility of a child, he decided to focus his rage on the unborn child, knowing that she actually treasured having a life growing inside her. At 6 months, his hitting finally forced a miscarriage on her. Heartbroken and changed for good, she picked up the pieces of her life, checked into a domestic violence shelter, and stayed there until she managed to finish her schooling again and even started an education in psychotherapy. The newfoudn empathy from the loss of her baby made her a natural at the profession, and after only 4 months as a licensed practitioner, the UN requested that she act temporarily as a live in counselor for youth involved in a "voluntary" medical test. The pay seemed good, and she was glad to to help the young minds in this time of stress.
