The Methane Whaleboat was encountered in a methane atmosphere, apparently stalking/chasing a Methane Whale. The Whaleboat was crewed by 35 individuals, belonging to three distinct races. The Whaleboat has a fusion power source and moves just above the ground via manipulating gravity - individuals caught in its wake experience dizziness and nausea. The Whaleboat is (as far as is known) armed with ten Mk.30 Disruptors, in individual mounts (all distributed in the forward section) and a twin-barreled Mk.100 torpedo launcher turret in the stern. It has never moved faster than 100 km/h, but has shown good handling. Size is estimated at 1,000-2,000 tons.
