Missing you has become so 
     easy.
It happens before you close 
     the door,
If you hang up the phone,
Or if you leave the room.

When you are out of my sight
Mere words cannot express
The pain in my heart. 
That has become so very real.

To miss you is truly
As if someone stole the 
     daylight;
Or took my air away from my 
     lungs;
Or even stole the moon.

The stars have all died.
The night sounds are quiet.
The waters are still,
And I am alone.

All I have left 
Now that you have gone,
Is my beating heart
That seems slowly dying.

Alone with my thoughts,
I slowly lay down;
For the beat of my heart
Has fallen silent now.

Missing you came so easy
The moment you left;
But that is all over,
For I have laid down to 
     rest.

My rest is eternal.
The heart beat has stopped.
I shall miss you no more,
For now I am gone...
