Welcome To The Hellmouth and The Harvest: Buffy Summers moves to a new town with her mother to make a fresh start, but finds Giles and she is reminded of her slayer duties. As Buffy tries to settle into her new surroundings, she is called upon to stop the Master Vampire from being unleashed upon the Earth.
The Witch: Amy is really unpopular. Her obsession with becoming a cheerleader is questioned when members of the squad start having hoorible accidents. Then, after a test proves that the girl's performing witchcraft, Buffy, Giles and the rest of the slayerettes go to stop her.
Teacher's Pet: When Buffy's biology teacher shows up decapitated in the kitchen fridge, Buffy becomes suspicious of the new substitute after one boy disappears after working with her. The next day, Xander disappears as well, and Buffy, Willow and Giles search for them.
Never Kill A Boy On The First Date: Owen a handsome, poetry-loving classmate asks Buffy out on her first date. There is a dilema when the Master raises the Annointed One. Buffy has to chooses to go on a date or save Giles.
The Pack: On a school trip to the zoo, Sunnydale's mean crowd go into the hyena cage, which has been fenced off from visitors. When Xander goes in, he and the others are possessed by vicious African hyena spirits, turning them into savages while they eat Mr. Flutie and the pig.
Angel: Angel helps Buffy defeat three vampires, she after takes him home to tend to a wound. That night Buffy shares a kiss with Angel, only to discover that he is a vampire so she has to choose between a demon or her mother.
I, Robot-You, Jane: Willow scans a spellbook onto the library's computer, releasing an age-old demon onto the Internet. Soon, the monster is taking teens for death rides on the information superhighway.
The Puppet Show: When Buffy, Xander and Willow are forced into performing in the school talent show, they find themselves hunting down a possessed puppet and an organ- harvesting demon.
Nightmares: Nightmares are haunting Buffy and her friends after a boy is admitted to the hospital. The gang thinks he is turning their worst dreams into reality.
Invisible Girl: On the eve of the spring dance, a violent invisible girl starts tormenting Cordelia. With nowhere to go, she asks Buffy and her crew to help, only to be stuck playing surgeon or stuck in the boiler room.
Prophecy Girl: After Angel gives Giles an ancient book of prophecy, Buffy overhears them talking about the Master and how he is going to kill her. She quits and Cordelia and Willow find dead bodies of their friends in the AV room. Buffy knows what she has to do. A little child leads her to death and when the Master bites down, Buffy dies.
When She Was Bad: Buffy returns from summer vacation with a different outlook. She tries to distance herself from her friends. Meanwhile, The Annointed One's servants attempt to resurrect the Master. That means collecting the bodies of everyone who was they when he died.
Some Assembly Required: Buffy discovers that body parts missing from fresh graves. Giles is confused at first but then finds out that they are being used to create a young Frankenstein monster's bride and that she and Cordelia are on the creators wish list!
School Hard: Buffy faces the newest Vampires in town...Spike and Drusilla. Spike is the only vampire to have killed two Slayers and is spoiling to make it a record third. Buffy has to keep this from happening when Spike and the vampires invade Parent-Teacher Night at Sunnydale High.
Inca Mummy Girl: Sunnydale High's new foreign-exchange student turns out to be a revived Inca mummy girl who needs to suck the lifeforce out of people to survive. And it looks like Xander is on the menu unless Buffy can stop her.
Reptile Boy: Buffy decides to resolve her relationship with Angel by dumping him and accepting a date with a college boy. She and Cordelia go to the frat house together and are drugged. Upon awakening, they find they are to be sacrificed to the fraternity's reptilian master.
Halloween Episode: Someone from Giles past transforms Buffy and the Slayerettes into their Halloween costumes personae and Buffy loses her slaying ability as she is transformed into an 18th Century Noblewoman she dreams was connected with Angel.
Lie To Me: A boy who Buffy had a crush on in the fifth grade comes to Sunnydale with the intention of delivering her to Spike in exchange for being transformed into a vampire so he can live for all eternity.
The Dark Ages: A dark entity which was conjured up by a group of British school-chums, including Rupert Giles and Ethan Rayne, years ago has begun killing them. Buffy races to find a way to save them while Ms. Calendar finds herself possessed by the entity.
What's My Line, part 1: Buffy has to watch out when Spike sends demon assassins after her during Career Week to keep her busy while he tries to revitalize Drusilla. Also, there is some new girl running around Sunnydale slaying vampires and her next target appears to be Angel.
What's My Line, part 2: When Buffy died at the hands of the Master in "Prophecy Girl" the next Slayer was called. Buffy must join forces with Kendra the Vampire Slayer, Buffy's seeming opposite in temperment and outlook, to save Angel's life before Spike can end it in an attempt to heal Drusilla.
Ted: Buffy's mother Joyce has a new boyfriend, but Buffy is suspicious of him and his motives. When she catches him with her diary and finds he's read it, she becomes angry. He taunts her and then slaps her. She kicks him and he tumbles down the stairs. Has the Slayer killed an ordinary man in anger?
Bad Eggs: Buffy and the Slayerettes become suspicious of a school assignment on parenting while a pair of Wild West vampires come gunning for the Slayer.
Surprises: Part 1 of a two-parter. This is the last Monday night at 9 PM episode. It's Buffy's 17th birthday and she's having prophetic nightmares that Drusilla survived the collapse of the church. Jenny Calendar receives a visit from family that bodes ill. Oz learns that Buffy is the Slayer when she dusts one at her birthday party. Drusilla and Spike are gathering the remains of a legendary demon known as the Judge to unleash Armegeddon.
Innocence: Part 2 of a two-parter. This is the first Tuesday night at 8 PM episode. A night of passion with Buffy and Angel's curse is lifted, thus bringing back his evil persona, Angelus. Now the Slayer must fight the Judge and Angelus. Willow catches Xander and Cordelia kissing, then learns that Oz daydreams about kissing her.
Phases: Willow becomes more interested in Oz, much to Xander's dismay, while the Slayerettes discover there is a werewolf on the loose in Sunnydale. Buffy must protect the werewolf from a poacher who is hunting it for it's pelt while trying to capture it. Angel continues his campaign to torture Buffy.
Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered: When Cordelia dumps him on Valentine's Day, Xander asks Amy to cast a love spell on her. The spell backfires leaving every women in Sunnydale infatuated with him, except Cordelia.
Passions Episode: As Angelus' bloodlust grows, Buffy is forced to have a heart-to-heart talk with her mother concerning him. Ms. Calendar attempts a reconciliation with Giles while searching for a way to restore Angel's soul in reparation to Buffy. Tonight, Angel turns up the heat when he finally kills one of the Slayer's friends!
Killed By Death Episode: Buffy is admitted to the hospital with a raging fever and meets a boy who is having nightmares which relate to her past and present. Xander stays at her bedside to watch over her, which causes Cordelia to be jealous of his concern for, and devotion to, the Slayer. Meanwhile children are dying and the Slayer must save them!
I Only Have Eyes For You: In 1955 a student killed his teacher that he had an affair with and then killed himself. Now in 1998 his ghost is haunting the halls of Sunnydale possesing couples re-acting the tragic night. He's back and being really mean about it. He decides to take of Buffy and Angel and ask for forgiveness.
Go Fish:Students from the Sunnydale High swim team are becoming jerks. Just because they won the state semi-championships. They are also turning up inside out and fish-like creatures are attacking people. Xander decides to go under cover (not under much) to find out what is causing the team to turn.
Becoming:The 1st part of the 2 parter season finale. Flashbacks of Angel becoming a vampire by Darla, Buffy in LA and Angel tormenting Drusilla. Kendre returns to help Buffy and bring a weapon to help againts Angel because he is triing to get the world sucked into hell.
