East Fife's results from Season 1918/19:

As the Great War drew to a close towards the end of 1918, very little minor league football was played due to the fact that most of the players were off fighting in the trenches. Although the Scottish League had 18 members during Season 1918/19, all of which completed their 34 fixtures, both the Eastern League and the Central League went into abeyance. The only minor Senior league competed for was the Western League, which had eight members. Details of East Fife's matches throughout most of the Great War are rather hard to come by because, when they did take place, reports seldom appeared in the press as newspapers devoted most of their pages to the war. Journalists were in short supply too, as most were involved in the conflict. What is certain, however, is that East Fife's first match of the 1918/19 season took place on 21 December 1918 (just over a month after peace was declared) at Bayview against army side 4th KOSB (King's Own Scottish Borderers).
