 In all honesty, Johnny isn't as much of a test as King Calimari. Start out with whatever 
you want and continue with whatever you want. Just be sure to go easy on the multi-person 
attacks, cause if you get rid of the Bandana Blues Mario and Johnny go 1-on-1. My advice is 
to keep one alive but do what you want. Also, use either a Bad Mushroom or Poison Gas 
sometime 'cause Johnny is vulnerable to Poison. Finish him off and the 4th Star Piece is 
yours (albeit temporarily).
