Welcome to my links and references page!
Without the following two references I would not be "Crash Ready".
The Elliot Wave Theory provides the scientific research that supports 1) the fact that stock market history repeats itself and 2) the basic market cycle of 3 steps forward, 2 steps back.
The Wall Street Underground by Nick Guarino. Nick's newsletter is what first alerted me to the impending stock market crash and how to profit from it. I do not have a web link, but the WSU can be reached at the following address/phone number:

The following Newsletters all warn of an impending '29 style crash with a bear market and "Greater Depression" to follow:

Doug Casey is an expert in Gold Mining Stocks as well as most other markets. He travels the world in search of bargains and usually finds them. He coined the phrase "Greater Depression".

Dr. Martin Weiss's father Irving shorted both the '29 & '87 crashes. In 1929 he turned $500 into almost $100,000 during the crash. Unfortunately he recently passed away. I wish he could have lived long enough to see (and short) the biggest crash yet...
Remnant Review

Baltimore, MD 21202
Dr. Gary North is an expert on the Year 2000 Computer problem. He said Buy Microsoft in 1988, he now says sell everything!

The "Investor's CIA" - Excellent detailed information from around the world that shows why the market will crash. They've dubbed today's market the "Plastic Bull".
Taipan

Predicted in '97 that the Dow would top out at 11,000 and then crash to 7,000 in 1999.
Fleet Street Letter

Excellent historical as well as current market information. Points out how the Media is an excellent "contrarian indicator". The Media was very negative on Stock's in the early 80's and finally an article by Business Week entitled "THE DEATH OF EQUITIES" came out in 1982 at precisely the best time to buy stocks within the past 100 years.

Following is a list of links with a brief description. I will be updating this section periodically.
Free Issue of International Speculator plus 2 more Newsletters
1998 Forecast for the U.S. Stock Market - Humongous page contains lots of charts including Elliot Wave Theory as well as other Theories that all point in the same direction - down.
Dave's Investment World 1929 Crash information - I like the financial quotes section showing that the "great minds of 1929" were as wrong as they could be.
Gold Eagle - Interesting comparison between RCA of 1929 and Microsoft of today. RCA lost 97% of it's value vs. the Dow's 89% from 1929-32. Microsoft just might be one of the best stocks you can short because it has the most to lose.
Gold and The Coming Stock Market Crash - Details of why the market will crash as well as information on deflation and precious metals.
Crash Indicator - A -10 or greater implies the risk of a crash is at hand. Not sure how usefull this is.
Prudent Bear Fund - The only mutual fund I suggest investing in. This fund actually shorts over-valued stocks. It should return at least 100% per year during the bear market with little risk.
The Two Major Stock Market Crashes - Good detailed information on the '29 and '87 crashes.
