Shepherd's Pie

2 lbs lean ground beef
8 oz cheddar cheese
12 servings of instant mashed potatoes (prepared)
2 cans of corn
1 packet taco seasoning

1) Cook ground beef and add taco seasoning.  Simmer 5 minutes.

2) Prepare mashed potatoes - enough for 12 servings.

3) Spread ground beef evenly in a large casserole pan (preferably
a lasagne pan).

4) Sprinkle cheddar cheese over ground beef mixture.

5) Spoon corn evenly over cheese.

6) Spread mashed potatoes over the corn.  Do not fill pan all the
way to the top as the mixture tends to boil up a little while
baking.

7) Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.  

8) Brown top of mashed potatoes in the broiler for 3 minutes.
Keep a close watch so that the top doesn't burn.

9) Let set 5 minutes before serving.
