SERVICE...
by Nelson C. Boyd
When you see a fellow tarry
By the roadside and he's weary
Say a word to him that's cheery".
Help him any way you can.
Don't forget your duty brother
For its the thing you owe to every man,
Let him know the awful sorrow
If he should sin again tomorrow.
Tell him of the golden promise
That the Master freely gave us
How He died and bled to save us
Friend stay with him if you can.
DOING YOUR BEST...
by Nelson C. Boyd
Are you going to church my brother
Are you doing your duty there
Are you thinking of another
Are you serving God in prayer
Is not the faithful service
That makes you a better man
Are you walking in the promise
Always doing the best you can?
Do you know the joy of reaping
Things you've tried so hard to do
Oh my friend I say go onward
Always sowing seed thats true
When you meet a shirking brother
Speak to him a word of cheer
Try to show him there's another
That will help him shed a tear
