This clan is originally from the Middle East and are considered silent stalkers to and of other Kindred. The are loyal to their clan, claiming to be decendent from Haqim. And claiming as such they try to convert or slay other Kindred, believing that they are fighting against Cain and his curse and to bring back honor to Haqim's cause of justice.     At one time the Assamites were forced into submission by the Camarilla and the Tremere bestowed upon them a blood curse that rendered them unable to drink Kindred blood. Thus stopping their diablerization of the elders of the Kindred. Recently though, the curse has been broken and they are back to their usual ways of stalking and killing other Kindred.
