Ghoul Abilities and Powers:

1. "As long as ghouls regularly drink Kindred blood, they do not age."

2. "Ghouls may use the vampiric blood in their systems in the same way vampires do."

3. "Every ghoul has the Discipline of Potence. When mortals first become ghouls, they gain a Potence of one, and this rating can raise with experience. Ghouls can also buy the Disciplines of Fortitude and Celerity."

4. "In rare instances, ghouls learn other Disciplines which their master knows. How this happens is unknown, but many feel this phenomenon is tied to the age and power of the vampire." REF: VM, page 238-239

5. Ghouls are still considered mortals in that they can walk around during the day, need to eat, sleep and breathe and all those other mortal traits and abilities.

Notes on Ghouls:

·Ghouls can only hold ten blood points in their bodies; this includes any vampire blood taken. They can only spend one vampiric blood point per turn/action. A ghoul who drinks more mortal blood when full will take one wound level per extra point of blood. The extra blood is not useable for anything. Any wound levels taken for drinking extra mortal blood can be healed by drinking vampire blood. The exception to the extra blood rule is the monthly vampiric blood point taken to remain a ghoul. This blood point will be integrated into the ghoul's body to maintain ghoul status. It will not go into the ghoul's blood pool. Ghouls do not lose a blood point each day like vampires do. A ghoul must be careful on how much vampiric blood is spent. A ghoul cannot spend all or most of its blood like a vampire can. A ghoul is still considered mortal in this case. A ghoul can only spend the vampiric blood in its system, not its own, mortal blood. A ghoul can safely spend up to and including five vampiric blood points without harm.

·As an optional rule, a ghoul can spend a Willpower point instead of a blood point to activate a Discipline. The Willpower points acts like the blood point. This optional rule is only useable for activating Disciplines.

·When an individual/animal becomes a ghoul, they automatically gain the Discipline of Potence at one dot. They don't have to spend any points to get it. The ghoul can also self-teach itself the Disciplines of Fortitude and Celerity. The ghoul can do this themselves, a vampire doesn't have to teach them. It costs the ghoul 25 experience points to gain the first dot in Fortitude or Celerity.

·A ghoul has the potential to learn other Disciplines its vampire master knows. The vampire teaches the ghoul a Discipline and the ghoul spends 25 experience points and gains the first dot in the Discipline. Ghouls are usually limited to one dot in vampiric Disciplines unless the vampire teacher is of lower generation.

·Ghouls need to regularly drink vampire blood to remain a ghoul and keep all their ghoulish abilities. If a ghoul misses a month, then the ghoul becomes mortal again and can never become a ghoul again.

·Ghouls cannot Blood Bond others to themselves. Those who have vampire blood in their veins can create Blood Bonds, however. Anyone who drinks the ghoul's blood will be one step closer to being Blood Bound to the Kindred whose blood the ghoul drank. If the ghoul drank a mixture of many different Kindred's blood, then no effect (not even the Vinculum) is created. It takes three drinks of a Kindred's blood, even when carried through a ghoul intermediary, to create a Blood Bond. After a Regnant is established, the subject will immediately feel the effects of the Blood Bond, though she may not even know to whom she is in Thrall."

Revenants:

Revenants are a breed apart from normal ghouls, born with vampiric blood coursing through their veins. Born into the world of hte supernatural, their entire lives are lond and drawn out, and some have lived for more than three centuries. They continue to age, despite the vampiric blood in their veins, because the effectiveness of their longevity has worn thin from generation after generation of natural-born, inbred ghouls. Only real vampire blood can sustain them agelessly.
