DOMINANCE AND SUBMISSION
Can you really dominate or submit to someone on-line?
At first it sounds as if it would be really impossible to achieve through a computer or over the phone or any format other that in person, face to face. And most informational sights that you browse around to answer with a resounding no, that it cannot be done, under any circumstances. That the Dom/me cannot really tell if the sub is truely carrying out their wishes. But to really answer the question, we need to delve a little deeper into what makes a D/s relationship. And how it's participants interact with one another.
If you are reading this, and have any experience in on-line relationships you have realized, and this has also been discussed elsewhere on this sight, that the feelings and emotions inspired and created can be and often are as intense and real as those r/t. This plays heavily into why D/s works on-line. The second most important factor is the make-up of most D/s relationships.
Yes, there are those who's participation only extend as far as the scene at hand and no further. Which is fine, but here i am discussing those who's relationship extends further. The one reason why it extends further is because of the mental aspect. The dominance and submission that is shown psychologically. That right there is the key.
In the mind of the submissive, they have given over control of themselves to the Dom/me. Mentally this control is exerted. A Dom/me need not touch the sub, or in any way physically coerce them into doing something. The subs own desire and need to serve does this for them. This holds true in r/t as well, but carries over so much further into c/t (cyber-time).
