Daya Dasa

I am Dayanand Dasa Rsi, Daya Dasa for short. My name means one who likes being merciful, compassionate, a servant, a wise man. Really, I am an American and not an Indian. This is the name I have chosen for myself, because this is the WWW and not real life. Seriously though, I love India. I took this class in college called "Music in other Cultures". When we covered Indian Classical Music, the ragas captured me. Thus began my life-long study of the country, the culture, the society and the religion. Although I have not been there yet, I do plan to go soon and hope to maybe one day live there. Then the pictures you see here will be my own.
