Martin Luther King Jr.

Martin Luther King Jr, was a man with a dream. He was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was the second of three children in the family of reveren Martin and Alberta King.

At the age of 19 king recieved his bachelor's degree of sociology. This degree came from Morehouse collage. In 1951 he recived another bachelors degree from Crozer Theological Seminary, and in 1955 a doctorate in philosophy from Boston University.

Also, in 1954, king accepted his first pastorate - the Dexter Avenue Baptist Church in Motgommery, Alabama. King and his wife, Coretta Scott King, whom he had met and married in June 1953 while at Boston University, lived in Montgomery less than a year when Mrs. Rosa Parks defied the ordanance concerning segregated seating on city buses, December 1, 1955.
