"Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts" Zechariah 4:6b

Testing Requirements at Freedom Bible College and Seminary

In the interest of academic excellence, the following guidelines
are provided to help you get the most out of your coursework and the
highest possible grades:

1. Read your testing procedures carefully. Follow them to the
letter. If a test procedure calls for 300-word-minimum essays for
each chapter and a 600-word-minimum essay summary, ensure that you
meet these minimum requirements. Papers not meeting the minimum
requirements will be returned, ungraded, for completion.

2. Spell and grammar check your work. If your computer or type-
writer does not have these capabilities, have someone proofread your
work. Express yourself clearly and concisely, using complete
sentences. College level work is expected.

3. Ensure that each paper is headed as follows:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: John Doe Date: 15 March 2001
Course Number: BSC-403
Course Title: A Basic Christian Theology
Chapter: 1
Chapter Title: What Can We Possibly Know About God?
Home phone: (850) 555-5555

If you choose to submit your work electronically, your email header
does not replace this requirement.

4. On tests derived from end of chapter questions, ensure you read
each question and answer it completely. A common mistake is to
answer only one part of a two-part question. PAGE NUMBER REFERENCES
ARE REQUIRED ON EACH ANSWER.

5. On written tests supplied by the college, read each question
carefully and examine all optional answers. Select the best answer
according to the textbook.

6. We encourage our students to express their views when answering
test questions or writing essays, but only after providing the text-
book answer. You are graded on course content, not your opinion.

7. Limit direct quotes and paraphrasing from the textbook on essays.
If you use quotes, you must identify those quotes through the use of
footnotes. Provide a comprehensive discourse on each chapter
covering theories/arguments under each heading and subheading.

8. FBCS is a Bible College and Seminary. We expect every essay to
be garnished with supporting scriptural references. The Word of God
must be at the center of all our courses and degree programs. (You
wouldn't want it any other way.)

9. Your first course may be submitted one chapter at a time for you
to get a "feel" for how we grade. After the first course, you should
submit coursework in its entirety.

10. Always retain a copy of your coursework. FBCS cannot be held
responsible for material lost in cyberspace or by the postal service.

Are you ready to meet Him?

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words." I Thessalonians 4:16-18
