Coyote -- Oreamnos americanus

- Average Weight: up to 40 lbs.
- Peak Weight: 40 lbs.
- Characteristics: Coyotes has a pointed ears and muzzle, thick coat and bushy tail. Their coats can range from
gray, black, reddish, or combinatins of all colors.
- Diet: Coyote eat small animals such as rabbits and mice, but they are also able to take down whitetail deer.
- Habitats and Distribution: Coyote located throught much of North America, the only areas not inhabited by coyotes are
northern areas of Canada and southeastern United Sates.
