TOP 10 PC GAMES

Here it is gang! Read on...
10. The Mechwarrior series of games: What Battletech fan wouldn't love piloting a mech and blowing up lots of stuff? The first one, which came out 10 years ago, is awesome, and the games have just kept getting better and better! The Mechwarrior 2 trilogy should practically be required gaming for a Battletech fan!
9. Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast: Hands down the best Star Wars game since Episode One Racer (and up there for best SW game ever). This game has the play control of Dark Forces (and Jedi Knight, with the graphics and sound kicked up to notches unknown. This game's Collector's Edition is probably the most added value for the money: Jedi Outcast AND Jedi Knight AND Dark Forces, with a special lightsaber keychain, all in a sweet looking tin!
8. Baldur's Gate 1 and 2: Now classic PC RPG's, both BG games are VERY well done, definitely must-plays!
7. Star Wars-TIE Fighter: Hands down the best Star Wars PC game. A very easy game to learn, very enjoyable, AND you get to be the Empire! Does it get any better than that?
6. Halo: Halo? Don't talk about Halo. Are you kidding me? HALO?? (perfect Jim Mora impression). But seriously, Halo really surprised me. The single player story was better than I expected it to be, a lot of fun, and multiplayer is all that too!
5. Half Life: A worthy successor to the title of "Best PC Game Ever". This game has a great storyline, killer video and audio, awesome internet play (spent many an hour killing stuff online), and the best part is that you don't need a supercomputer to run it smoothly!
4. Battlefield 1942: Wow. This game is by far the best FPS I have seen on ANY system. A solid single player game, and a world of possiblities in multiplayer, including many different mods (including the highly regarded Desert Combat)
3. Icewind Dale (with the Heart of Winter expansion) and ID II: The RPG that is singlehandedly responsible for getting me hooked on the Forgotten Realms world of D&D. A very gripping RPG, easy play control, it really draws you in. VERY highly recommended!
2. Doom 1-3: the stellar game that Doom 3 is helps vault the series onto my Top 10 list! One of the better PC games to hit in 2004 (but not THE best....)
1. Half Life 2: Easily the most beautiful, most immersive, and most addictive game I have ever played, on any system, EVER. It introduces the Gravity Gun. Nothing is more ironic that needing a health pack in a multiplayer game, and someone shoots one at you with the Gravity Gun and kills you! And of course there's always the kill via the flying porcelain of death! (yes, you can shoot toilets at people!) If you have the system to play it (check your sys req's), definitely get this one (and Doom 3 too).

TOP 10 PS1 AND PS2 GAMES

First off, the PS1 Games:
10. Final Fantasy Tactics: Final Fantasy meets turn based strategy! Very interesting to play, lots of fun, you can even unlock Cloud from FF7 as a playable character.
9. Chrono Cross: The sequel to Chrono Trigger, and like its predecessor, it doesn't disappoint
8. Final Fantasy Chronicles (has FF 4 and Chrono trigger): Originally available on the SNES (FF4 was FF2 in the SNES), these classics are still as good as ever. And with the 10 (yes TEN) different endings for Chrono Trigger, it makes for HOURS of replay value
7. Gran Turismo 1 and 2: They really are the Ultimate Driving Simulator. I've actually 100%'ed GT2 (that took a LOOOONG time). To this day I'm still working on GT1
6. Final Fantasy Anthology (has FF's 5 and 6). This was a true FF first: it came with a music CD of a compilation of music from both games. These games I can still play over and over!
5. Final Fantasy 9: The last "new" FF game on the PSX. Don't get me wrong it was REALLY good, but it felt like there was something lacking to make this a really big FF title. It seems like the bottled up magic from 7 and 8 kinda got watered down once it got to 9.
4. Final Fantasy 8: Every once in a while I still make my way back to this one. And every time I get back to it, it's still a blast!
3. Final Fantasy 7: Probably the most popular FF title. With a bad guy as cool as Sephiroth is, how could this game NOT suck? When you heard "One Winged Angel" you knew you were in deep trouble.
2. Metal Gear Solid w/ VR Missions: All I can really say about MGS is WOW. Right from the first time I played it I could tell just why MGS is as popular and highly acclaimed as it is. The VR Missions expansion gave 300 more missions to play with.
1. Final Fantasy Origins (FF I and FF II): A Metal Gear title NOT topping the Playstation list? You better believe it! The original Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy 2 FINALLY on the Playstation! I've logged MANY an hour on the original NES version of FFI. And I did it all over again on the PSX!

And now the PS2 Top 10 List!
10. Devil May Cry 1-3: I actually got hooked on these by playing the PS3 demo of Devil May Cry 4. I went back and got these in a box set. Amazing series of games!
9. Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2: Disney meets Squaresoft in a great series of RPG's! It was a surprisingly fun series!
8. Guitar Hero 1,2, and 3: What more could possibly be said about them that hasn't been said before? Mega-props to anyone who can 5-star "Through the Fire and Flames" on Expert!
7. Resident Evil 4: This is another one that got me by surprise. I actually got this game sight unseen, and was just totally blown away. Really good game to play with the lights off!
6. The .hack series: A simulated MMORPG. It has all the feel of an MMO!
5. Gran Turismo 3 and 4: The Real Driving Simulator still reigns as king of driving games!
4. Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City and San Andreas: GTA took a HUGE leap when 3 came out. Then takes you back into the 80's for Vice City, then throws you into a HUGE area for San Andreas!
3. Final Fantasy XII: The PS2 goes out with a really REALLY big bang!
2. Final Fantasy X and X-2: The first FF game to get a true sequel! Two amazing games, both worth of the name Final Fantasy!
1. Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3: I still bust these out today. Always a blast to take a tour of duty with Snake!

TOP 10 PS3 GAMES

Okay, FINALLY a true Top 10 list!
10. NBA 2K7: One of the first games I got with my PS3. A very solid NBA game!
9. Spider Man 3: All of the free-roaming of NYC like in Spider Man 2, but with definitely better graphics!
8. Assassin's Creed: Nothing like being an assassin in Crusade-era Jerusalem! Taking the Leap of Faith never gets old!
7. Rainbow Six Vegas 2: Another kickass Rainbow Six game!
6. Resistance: Fall of Man: This one took me a little bit to warm up to, but once I did, I was completely hooked! Resistance 2 is already on my shopping list, and I haven't even finished 1 yet!
5. Call of Duty 4: The CoD series gets another really REALLY good game. This one being in modern times with modern weapons. Defintely a must buy!
4. Devil May Cry 4: Wow. The demo for this game not only got me to get the previous 3 DMC games, but got me to preorder 4 at the same time!
3. Rock Band 1 and 2 (and the AC/DC Live track pack): Guitar Hero was/is good, this series of games is just that much better. And add on one of my favorite concerts (AC/DC's Donnington concert) as a track pack, and it screams a winner in my book. It's a good bet that the upcoming Guitar Hero game will show its head on the top 10 once it releases: METALLICA!!!!!
2. Grand Theft Auto IV: Up until about a week before I wrote this list, this game would be the hands down #1 PS3 game on my list. Amazing graphics, amazing play control, just an all around awesome game.
1. Metal Gear Solid 4: If this game doesn't get the 2008 Game of the Year, it will be a downright shame. Not trying to diss GTA IV, it's an absolutely mind-blowing game, but MGS 4 is even miles ahead of GTA.

TOP 10 PSP GAMES

Yep, I finally got my hands on a PSP! AND with enough games to make a full Top 10 list!
10. Worms Open Warfare: Nothing better to kill time than having an army of worms shooting the daylights out of another army of worms!
9. MotoGP: Crotch rocket racing. Lots of fun!
8. Metal Gear Acid 1 & 2: The same idea of MGS, but done using cards. A very interesting way of doing Metal Gear!
7. Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions: Come on. You KNEW a Final Fantasy game would make it into the PSP collection! It's the original Tactics revamped for today. Still an amazing game!
6. Final Fantasy: What could I say about Final Fantasy that I haven't said elsewhere numerous times before? I know, I'll have to get the GBA version and make it the clean sweep! haha
5. Star Wars Battlefront II: And, you also KNEW a Star Wars game would make into my collection as well! Aiming takes a little getting used to (due to no 2nd analog stick), but it's still just as much fun as the console version of BF2!
4. Syphon Filter Dark Mirror and Logan's Shadow: Got this demo off the net, and it reminded me REALLY fast of how good the original Syphon Filter games were back in the old PS1 days!
3. Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops: It's TRULY Metal Gear on the PSP. What started out as a 5 minute "make sure to disc works" session stretched out to an hour long MGS-fest! Wow doesn't even begin to describe it!
2. Killzone Liberation: Another demo I downloaded off the net, and just the demo level blew me away! Just a pure fun shooter! I have since gotten the full game and the full game is even better than the demo.
1. Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories: It really is Vice City on a handheld. This game was the one to really make me think "Damn! I'm glad I got a PSP!" (I know, I coulda gotten VCS on the PS2!)
