77-year-old woman with a sore,
pruritic, blistering eruption
for three days prior to arrival.
Examination of the palms, soles,
dorsal aspect of the feet, legs,
buttocks, and inner thighs revealed
well-demarcated, tense vesicles and bullae;
some of them were on urticarial bases.
They ranged in size from 3 mm to 3 cm.
They were not clustered in a
rosette pattern.
Examination of the oral and ocular mucosa
revealed some conjunctival injection but
no erosions or bullae.
There was crusting over the left lower lip.
