Campbell, son of George and Christina, and his second wife
Margaret Baker are buried in Fox Cemetery.  Margaret is the
daughter of Cynthia Baker and William Carroll Hill.

A Campbell Fox served with the Confederate 50th Infantry as a
private in F Company.  Another Campbell Fox of service age
was the son of Eli Fox.

The children of Campbell Fox and Biddy Jane Hill were:

+ a. John Calvin Fox, 19 Jan 1862.
+ b. Juliann Fox, 27 Apr 1863

The children of Campbell Fox and Margaret Baker were:
+ c. William Carroll Fox 18 Mar 1866.
  d. Mary Elizabeth (Mollie) Fox born 1868.  She married
Decatur Fine.
  e. Martha Jane Fox, born 1870.  .  She married her second
cousin, Willard Spence Fox (V.H.b.) and moved to Anthony,
Kansas after 1900.
  f. Melvina Fox, born 28 Sep 1871.  Melvina did not marry and
is buried in Fox Cemetery.
+ g. James Sheldon Fox, born 15 Sep 1873.
+ h. Joseph Fox, born 1875.
+ i. Daniel Caswell Fox, born 1879.
  j. Amanda E. Fox, born 5 Oct 1880.  She died 3 Jan 1911 and
is buried in Fox Cemetery.
  k. George Fox, born 1882-1884.  George married Pearl
Atchley.  He died 1968 and is buried in Fox Cemetery.  George’s
son J.C. died from poisoned grain alcohol.   Pearl and Mary
Atchley (Eli’s wife) were sisters
+ l. Eli Fox, born 5 May 1885.
  m. Eugene L. Fox, born 1888.  A Eugene Fox married Willie
McMahan 4 Jul 1920.  According to “Chestnut Hill: A Chronicle
1783-1986”, Eugene married Ida Dockery.
  n. Willard Roscoe Fox, born 1893.  He married Julia C. Allen
(1897-1946).  Willard died in 1947 and is buried in Fox
Cemetery.
