Jasmine's Page

Here is some information about my sister:

Full name: Jasmine Aurora Marie Maybury, Aurora chosen because it means Dawn which is both Mommy's middle name and the name of Daddy's cat (Aurora is also the name of the Princess in Disney's Sleeping Beauty), Marie was chosen because it is a variation of Mary which was Daddy's Grandmother Maybury's first name (Jasmine was born on Daddy's Grandmother Maybury's birthday), Mary Maybury died one day after Mother's Day in 1995 the same year as my cousin Geordi (Marie is also the name of the female kitten in one of my favorite movies Disney's Aristocats).

Likes: Flowers, tomatoes, pickles, swings, slides, the Toronto zoo, dogs, butterflies, horses pretty ornaments and other fragile things she's not allowed to touch.

Favorite TV Shows: Zaboomafoo, Zoo Diaries (on Life Channel which profiles the Toronto Zoo), Swaga, Veggie Tales, Teletubbies, Winnie the Pooh and Pokemon.

Dislikes: Cold water - she likes warm baths. Having her hair washed or brushed, loud noises (crashes, bangs, angry dog barks), being in dark movie theatres, roast beef, ketchup, peas (although when she was a year old she ate them), going to bed, knowing someone else is going out the door without her (Jasmine doesn't like feeling left out and wants to go whenever someone is going somewhere).
