Hello and Howdy!
Doc., who has too much on his plate, has asked me to "gird up the loins of my mind" and help him out by being his guest journalist. I suppose it is the least i can do, since he has filled my shoes quite often! For those who do not know me, I am Me_7, the proud author of Me: My Life, My Words. If you cruise to that site, please do not expect hot pornographic stories or steamy love affairs. My life is a tad bit boring, but, nevertheless, it is fact, not fiction that I write about! I am really not sure what to write about. If you *are* a follower of my site, you already know how close Doc and I are. We are the brother and sister that our own parents never conceived. Doc and I have been friends forever and a day. (Ok, well, coming close to 10 years!) Although we live far apart, (8 hours + by plane) and have only met once in real life, our hearts are very close! Doc has been with me through some tough times. (My breakup with an ex-boyfriend, a recent car accident, to name a few times Doc has been there to hold my hand and pat my back) I wasn't able to be there for the day he got married to the wonderful Mrs. Doc, yet, my telegram made it which expressed my true words of joy. I have never met his little daughter, yet, I am her tante, her aunt. I am honored to be given that title. My mother even calls the Doc and the Mrs. her "children". She has always stated that Doc is not only my brother, but her son as well. Doc has that way with you. He nestles into your heart and steals a huge piece of it. Doc is my brother, the true, everlasting brother . . . a friend forever and is in my heart to stay. I hope and trust that you, the reader, will soon discover, if you have not already, what a special guy Doc. is. . . So, this j.e. (journal entry) has turned into a sappy memorial of Doc. So sorry! I wrote what was on my mind, and the wonderful friendship of Doc was on my mind, hence the words of love . . .
Toodles! Me_7 |
