Lora Showalter (osmanda)
Lora, along with Christine Booth, created the Donnsters chat room to fulfill a need for those who wanted to chat but couldn't do so in the Osmond web site's Java based chat room.

Lora is a talented woman, who likes to sew and makes quilts. She made a GORGEOUS one to commemorate Donny's final performance in Joseph with the Canadian cast, and presented it to him at his get together. It now holds a place of honor in his office.

Christine is co-founder of the Donnsters chat room. She is lively, and a joy to chat with! Upbeat, and warm, she too is talented, and has a great web site I recommend that you visit when you can!

Here's what Lynda has to say: "I'll be 36 on Jan 29th, live in Toronto, Ontario. I'm *still* single, but not for the lack of trying! I have 2 cats -- Sammy (7) and Andy (6). I've been a Donny fan since 1969! I can still remember seeing his face in a Tiger Beat magazine like it was yesterday! I've only had the chance of meeting him 4 times, and Marie 3 times. Haven't met any of the other Osmonds YET!!!"

Rosi Garcia Castelan (Clinton Hall)
Rosi has this to say: "I am from Mexico City and when I was 10 years old, now I am 32, I was failing ALL my English courses. Since my father was very upset, I had to do something about it.

One day I thought "How about if I ever meet Donny and what am I going to do if he does not speak Spanish, how am I going to tell him how much love him?" Well, since then my grades could not have been better.

After getting my undegraduate degree in Mexico I decided to go abroad to continue my graduate studies. Somehow I ended up in Buffalo. In 1992, a friend of mine told me that Donny was performing "Joseph" in Toronto which is just 1.30 hrs from Buffalo.

Well, to make a long story short, I met Donny at the backstage door of the Elgin Theatre and I FORGOT ALL MY ENGLISH. In fact I could not talk at all. I was just crying. I guess he never expected anybody to behave like I did. I cried for the entire performance. Once I could get a hold of myself, Donny and I took a picture together and I told him my story.

When he left I did not sleep for 2 days, he took all my energy away. Recently, I was at the GT in Toronto and of course I had more time to talk to him.

If I hadn't studied English none of these things would have happened. Now I am even about to get my Ph.D. and thanks to that many other wonderful experiences have come true. I just want to share all of them with you...but I will keep them for our chats!"

Cathy is alot of fun to know. She is our resident "Jayster"! *smile* even though she finds Donny talented and handsome, too! She's been an Osmond fan for 28 years.

Here's what Mary has to say: "I have been an Osmond fan since the Andy William's Show.  So, I literally grew up with them. Donny, of course, was and is my favorite. In the 80's, I lost track of the family...too busy with college and career.  Then "JOSEPH" came to Detroit:)(Saw "Joseph" 15 times--in Detroit, Chicago, and Toronto)  The Osmond bug bit, again!!!  It is so *great* having them back in my life.  Thru the Osmonds I learned about the LDS Church.  They were my first "missionaries".  I was baptized and confirmed into the Church on March 9, 1997.  It was the *best* decision I ever made!!  I have my degree in Early Childhood Education.  Have worked in the childcare field for 15 years.  Am anticipating opening my own in-home center in the near future.  Currently, I am assisting in one.  Am single and enjoy spending time with family and  friends, going to movies, bowling, travelling, reading good books, listening to music(especially, Donny), collecting Marie's dolls, surfing the net, and chatting at WBS. Also, have fun with my cat(she's 24 yrs young), dog, and hamster.  I am definitley an animal lover!!"

Lori has been an Osmond fan for 20 years.  I have been watching Donny and Marie shows on every Friday!!!  I met Donny twice in Boston in two years ago and it was a wonderful experience for me!!!  My dreams came true!!!  Donny is such a nice and caring person you will ever meet!!  I really always enjoying  myself being in the Donnsters chat and everyone in the chat are so much fun!!!
