Blue Sea Apathy

The big blue sea lies languidly
upon this sphere of green
A lucid eye that sees the sky
and all there is between

From the ancient to the present

everything has been done
And what was then shall be again
repeating on and on

Sailors obscene or priests pristine

were once upon the blue
Things that are hostile or peaceful
have crossed the currents too

The deepest dives have brought forth lives

like a mother vestal
And torrent waves have made men's graves
like a demon bestial

While nothing new has crossed the blue

the waves have waxed and waned
And turned the sand and shaped the land
never to be constrained

When all seems lost by theft or wast

wait by the wind worn shore
And you may find, to ease your mind
what you've been searching for

When love is gone and life drags on

with unrewarding pain,
Do not forget, when you regret,
that tears are all in vain

The clouds will drift, the rain will lift

it's pounding misery
The sun will glare with gentle care
upon the deep blue sea

Nothing is lost of greater cost

than love of someone dear
Though your heart aches each time it breaks
new love will bring new cheer

The sea can heal though it can't feel

malice or sympathy
Each creature dies, but it just lies
in total apathy

Have you ever loved someone so much
that all you know is hate?
When he's around, instead of joy
all you feel is pain?
He does so much,
and does he know
and would he even care?

that you just get so confused?
Last night he held you
like he actually cared,
but tonight it's someone new.

that you build your life around him?

Out   of   a   Dream

My heart raced when he said yes
He pulls me close against his chest
I put my arms around his neck
Our lips are touching, not just a peck

I am shaking really bad

He looks at me, the feelings I had
A nervous wreck I might've been
He comforts me & kisses me again

He kisses me over & over

I am still shaking, about to fall over
It's like a dream come true
I wish I could tell him "I love You"

My heart is racing with my pulse

I hope he didn't see the love I've lost
The hurt in my eyes will be replaced
With the sparkle & glowing haste

Last   Night

I held you in my arms last night
in case you didn't know
I climbed into my bed alone
my mind knew where to go

I touched your smiling lips last night

carassed your blushing cheek
kissed your sleeping forehead
of nothing did we speak

I came to your gentle arms last night

so gentle and s warm
I knew that if I stayed with you
that I'd come to no harm

I held you in my heart last night

at least that's how it seemed
and then the sun rose in the sky
I knew I'd only dreamed
