1 tbs. butter
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 tbs. medium oatmeal, level
Salt and Pepper to taste
2 cup chicken stock
1 cup milk
1/2 cup. cream
1 tbs. chopped parsley

Melt the butter in your saucepan.
Add the choped onion. Cook untill soft.
Do not let the onion get brown!
Add the salt and pepper and the oatmeal.
Cook this mixture for a few minutes.
Add the chicken stock slowley, stir as you add.
Bring the mixture to a boil.
Then cover, and simmer for about 1/2 hour.
Put entire mixture thru sieve.
Return to saucepan, put in the milk and reheat.
Serve with creme and chopped parsley.
