Suzy is my third child, and the
only one of my children that I actually sat down and planned for. She is
unique, she is so different from her brother and sister that sometimes
I think she is a changeling child. She was born in Bundaberg on 26th May
1978 and even then just had to be different.
When she was born her eyes were almost silver and she hardly ever slept. I call her my wild child, she is either supremely happy or in a pit of despair, there is no half way with Suzy. |
She is the child who exasperates me the
most but she is also the one who fills our lives with the most joy. I cannot
imagine living in a world without her.
She is packed full of energy and enthusiasm, she is bright and bubbly, she does everything with all her heart, sometimes it is exhausting just watching her. She loves people, loves to talk to people and people have the same reaction to her. I suppose that if you asked someone who had just met her to describe her, the first thing they would comment on is her smile. She smiles most of the time. She loves music and animals, particularly dolphins and whales, I think that had she been able she would have been on one of those Greenpeace ships that sail the world saving the whale. |
She has passed her smile and her love
of life on to her son Zach and if he grows up to be anything like his mum
he will be just fine.
I have enjoyed watching her grow from a wild and unpredictable child into a caring adult and a wonderful mother. I am so very proud that she is my daughter. |
