 O.k. here goes., I have a lot of trouble with the "tell me about yourself"  bit, because I never know what to tell you but I will try my best.  
Me I was born on November 5th, which in England is "Guy Fawkes Day" , in a little mining village in the North of England called Ushaw Moor in the county of Durham, which makes me a Pom (Aussie slang)
In 1965 my father decided that Australia was the place to be, so we packed up all our worldly possessions hopped on a ship and headed down under and I have been here ever since.

I live on a farm in the sunny state of Queensland and am married to a wonderful man and have 3 amazing kids and one grandson, who all think im a little crazy but they put up with me cos I'm the only one they've got
  • Reading - as long as its sci-fi or something gruesome
  • Music - anything from Rachmaninov to Guns & Roses depending on my mood
  • Making totally useless crafty type things
  • Chatting on irc or icq where most of my internet friends are
  • Walking in the rain
  • Lying on the grass at night watching the stars, not that I do alot of this because of the mozzies
  • Collecting dragons - hence the name dragonlady
  • Playing with my grandson who is at that "interesting" age
  • Spending time with my husband

  • Getting up early - I am defiantly a night person
  • Spiders - too many legs
  • Being laughed at, specially when I don't get the joke
  • Summer heat - there is a limit to how much you can take off to get cool and not be arrested or scare the neighbours
  • Cats - they never come when you call them, they just take a message
