Golden Silence

There are somethings in life where you have no control
You get on the road with nowhere to go
Gravity is pulling with suicide showing
A slit on wrist'll end your life quick
Sleeping Beauty fell ill with one little prick
If silence is golden, then why do we hate it so?
Why do southerners hate summers but would love to see snow?
The reason we hate, the reason we die
Nobody knows, nobody knows why
These things that are precious, the things we hold so
Dear, They may the pit of someone else's fear

A Poem

I can't eat, I can't sleep, I can't be
I can't think no more, I can't see
No more. Why are these emotions
Bottled up inside? Like a plague
Wanting suicide. "I bet for
Mercy, can anybody hear me?
Is anybody there?
If I ever reached you
Would you even care?"
I sit and wait trying to debate what
Was never really there. It's so
Strange how it came foen to this
So I clench my fist
I know it's true. It was never
Me it was always you. I enter
The ring and take first swing, and I laugh
As you go down.

My Confession

I know things I've done are not very nice, some of them I've even done twice
A spur of the momoent, a second or two. I am so sorry I don't know what to do

I am only human, people make mistakes, one after the other, day after day. Some are
Really hurtful, I'll wish it to go away. Then we'll find peace and forgiveness
We'll never lead astray

As hard as it is to trust me, I beg for you to go look at me with these
Tears in my eyes, I apologize and wipe my eyes, I am true to
You as you know me to.

Things will change as things always do, but always remember I'm
Thinking of you. Try as I might my conscience eats my soul,
I beg of you to 'never let go.

Guardian

I know you say things that are not true, you think I don't know
But really I do. I can see it in your eyes, I can tell everything's fine when
It isn't, I hope you don't try anything stupid

IF you ever need anything, I'll be there, I'm alway free
If you want to die that's not fine with me but I'll be
Looking out for you

Looking in your eyes is like a crystal ball, looking back
I'll be here to catch you if you fall
SOmetimes our lives are ruled by greed but I know you
