These metal bots are well-known throughout the Gygas inhabited universe, mainly because they is such a wide range of Starmen that have been created. The history behind the Starmen all began on their home planet of Zantorg, where they were created by the thousands. Using their superior intelect, the robots constructed exact replicas of eachother, along with newer models, which were infiltrated into their growing army. The Starmen were very powerful, and had control of all the surrounding planets, which were used as bases for their regiments when preparing for battle. The Sound Stone is what generates their energy, and radiates throughout the galaxy. Without this important item, they would be powerless against any force, and would not stand a chance against the enemy forces. Neglecting the Gygas for many years, the Starmen set off on their own, and the two forces soon became suspicious of one another. It wasn't long before a strage alien from a far off galaxy, touched down on their home planet. The small bee (also known as Buzz Buzz), explained to the Starman Leader that the Gygas were busy planning their attack on Zantorg, in order to get their hands on the Sound Stone. If this ever happened, the aliens would become virtually unstoppable, and the Starmen would not stand a chance against them. Buzz Buzz then offered to take possession of the Sound Stone, and store it off to safety for a short period of time. The leader decided that it was probably a decision that they would have to accept, and passed down the stone to the small bee. Later, the Starmen soon found out that giving Buzz Buzz the Sound Stone was a very big mistake -- Without warning, the alien bee left their home planet, and headed towards Earth. Although Buzz Buzz did give the Starmen Leader his word, this was the only way that the inhabitants of Earth would be able to stand a chance against the Gygas. The Starmen quickly discovered that their Sound Stone was not anywhere nearby, and assumed that the bee had pilfered the stone right from under their noses. They began to scour the galaxy for that pesky bug, and it wasn't long before one of the Starmen Jr. fell accross a young boy with the Sound Stone in his possession -- along with Buzz Buzz, who had been following him the whole time. Without the stone, Starman Jr. was easily defeated, and the boy quickly discovered his new-found strength. Continuing on with his adventure, the Starmen invaded the planet Earth, in hope that they would be able to retrieve their stone, and return it to safefty on Zantorg. Since they were battling against the selected heroes of Earth, they had no choice but to join the Gygas' side. They had become a great asset to the alien's army, and they were very intent on destroying Ness and his friends -- it was their only hope for existence.
