Kindergarten

This is my journal of my 1st year of school Kindergarten Mrs. Roman's Class September We went on our first class trip to an apple orchard in Warwick NY. We picked apples and pumpkins. We went on a hay ride and in a ghost house. We fed farm animals, but we couldn't feed the pigs because they bite.There was 31 kids from my class and my teacher Mrs.Roman and Mrs.Maria the helper. Mrs.Bianki's class had 30 kids. That is the other kindergarten class. Mom was a chaperone on the trip and she took alot of aspirin....*wink* October Happy Halloween! Halloween is here! We are having a parade and a party. I am dressing up as Batman. Mom is going to be a cat, and Ryan is going to be Elmo. After school mom is going to take us trick-or-treating. Happy Halloween! We have been looking at all the different leaves. November Happy Thanksgiving! Happy Birthday Ryan! (November 16th) Happy Birthday Daddy! (November 24th) We have been learning lots of new things. We are learning about Thanksgiving. We had a Thanksgiving feast on the last day of school before the holiday. We had all different foods like the pilgrims and Indians had. We had corn, Sweet potato, pumpkin pie and a whole lot more. Happy Thanksgiving! December Merry Christmas ! We had a Christmas party in school. We took a picture with Santa. We got nice presents from Santa, Mrs. Roman and Mrs. Maria. We will be having a long holiday vacation. We are off from December 24th until January 5th. January Happy New Year! Happy Birthday to me! (January 27th) I had my first school party for my birthday. We went on a trip to the Library. We had a story read to us, and we saw all the books. Mom took me right back to get my own card. February Happy Valentines Day! Happy Birthday Mommy (February 2nd) Happy Birthday Uncle Chas (February 18th) We celebrated 100 days of school. We had a Valentines Day party. We took a trip to the Post office and mailed a letter to our parents. We saw a puppet show at school too. March Happy St. Patricks Day! We had a party and a parade for St. Patty's Day. Mommy had another knee surgery on the 13th. I have been helping her alot! We are discussing all the different things that take place in the Spring. We went on a class trip to the circus on the 13th. April Happy Easter! We had an Easter Party in school. We had an egg hunt . We are learning about recycling. We are also learning about all the changes that happen in the Spring time. I have been reading easy reader books. We will have a spring recess from the 17th until the 28th. T-ball started. My 1st game is the 25th. May Happy Mother's Day Mom! We had 2 class trips this month. We went to The Land Of Make Believe and the zoo. I will be marching in the Memorial Day Parade. We got our finger prints taken by the police department. We have been getting tested for our report cards for the end of the school year. We have been learning about different bugs. I read my 1st book to my class all by myself without any help. June Happy Father's Day Dad! Happy Anniversary mom and dad! (June 8th) Happy Birthday Pop Pop! (June 20th) Last day of school! (June 18th) Graduation from kindergarten was on the 17th We had a big party. I was promoted to the 1st grade. I had an excellent report card! For The Month Of October I Made Student Of The Month!!
