An identified and signed CDV Bust portrait of Private Moses P. Millen,
Company I, 16th. New Hampshire Infantry. Signed by Millen on reverse with his hometown of Washington, N.H.
Records indicate that Millen volunteered at age 23 to serve three years on September 2nd. 1862.
He was mustered in as private on October 23rd. 1862 and left U.S. service on August 20th. 1863. After the war Millen lived in East Andover, N.H.
He was one of the officers in the Regimental Association for the 16th. New Hampshire.
