General Banks

CDV of General Nathaniel Prentiss Banks. A bust portrait copy photo. Of Banks who was Commander of the Department and Army of the Shenandoah in 1862 and of the Army of the Gulf in 1863-4. With this Army Banks captured Port Hudson in 1863. In period ink on back is Genl Banks, and below in pencil, Gen Banks Jan 24/63
