"The Mod Squad" is one of the most worthless action movies I have ever seen. The basic story is this: a police officer needs some men who can get into places that normal cops can't. So, he recruits three young people who are on their way to jail: Lincoln (Omar Epps), Pete (Giovanni Ribisi -- he was the medic in "Saving Private Ryan"... but he really sucks in this movie) and Julie (Clara Danes). He gives them the choice of joining his little "mod squad" or staying in jail. They choose to join the mod squad. Bad mistake. They get involved in an EXTREMELY boring conspiracy about drugs that are missing from an evidence locker. There's like one or two good action scenes in the whole movie. The rest is so incredibly boring that you don't want to pay attention. Do NOT see this movie.
