WHAT WE BELIEVE AND TEACH

1. LOVE. The first and great commandment is to love the Lord thy God with all of thy heart, soul and mind. The second is like unto it, to love thy neighbor as thyself. We believe the Lord's church should be marked by the quality of it's love. This love for God and man is premier among doctrine and practice for the Lord's true church.

2. GOD. We believe that there is only one true and almighty God. He is the God of the Bible. Creator of all things(Gen.1:1). He is triune in his personage (John 1:1;John 10:30). We believe in God the Father, God the Son, Jesus Christ and God the Holy Spirit, eternally existing as one. We believe that to propose that Jesus Christ is anything less than God is heresy.

3. THE BIBLE. We believe that the bible IS the Inspired Word of God! It is our sole rule of Faith and Practice(2 Tim. 3:16). We accept no other creeds or edicts as binding upon the hearts of believers. We reject all other sacred texts and testaments as a source of doctrinal truth. In all services and classes the King James Version of the english bible is used as our text.

4. HEAVEN AND HELL. We believe in both, as being literal places, as depicted in the scriptures. The unrepentant will spend eternity in the torment of flames(Luke 16:19-23) and the children of God will live with the Lord in the Heavenly city(John 14:1-4).

5. SALVATION. That Salvation is wholly by Grace and through Faith without any mixture of works(Ephesians 2:8-9). That Jesus is the "way, the truth and the life". Man cannot be saved aside from the seed of the word of God and conviction of the Holy Spirit. We believe in Faith and Repentance not as works of man but as works of God wrought in the heart of man.

6. THE CHURCH. We believe in a LOCAL church. That the church consists of visible assemblies of God's children. We do not believe in a Universal Invisible Church. The Lord's church, according to New Testament pattern, is a local assembly, of baptized believers, covenanted together, to carry out the great commission, and partake of the ordinances. The church is a completely Independant and autonomous body.

7. MISSIONS. We believe that all mission work must be done through a local church. We support local church missionaries. The great commission was given to the Local church.

8. SEPARATION. We believe that God's children must separate themselves from this world in dress, conversation, conduct, and activity. We also practice separation from other assemblies that do not walk according to the scriptues.
