In this photo album you 'll find photos from Derk Hendriks Boekeloo (1833-1903) and his wife Mary D. Howard (1836-1918) and from their descendants. In 1854 Derk immigrated with most members of his parental family into the USA and settled in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Derk Hendriks Boekeloo (1833-1903 / nr. 29), was the younger brother of Jacob H. Boekeloo (nr. 27 - see his album). He also came to the USA in 1854 with his parents from Middelstum-NL. In the USA he married his spouse Mary D.Howard (1836-1918).
