The Federal Blues is a militia from Rhode Island. We are made up of members of all ages from southeastern Rhode Island and southwestern Massachusetts. We participate in various parades in our area as well as encampments and reenactments. Our activities are not limited to this area though. We alos have a few big trips that we go on, such as our Block Island encampment for their Fourth of July celebration, and Quebec for a Continental Line encampment. We consist of Fifers, drummers, soldiers and campfollowers, and are always looking for new members. If you are interested in joining our group, send an e-mail to the above address. Soon I hope to have our monthly schedule of events, and a history of our group posted on this page, as well as links to other living history websites.
