Isn't this amazing?

Salsa Is HOT And It Isn't The Sauce Salsa is hotter than ever and it's not the kind you put on food. Thanks to Gloria Estefan and her hubby, Emilio, Salsa music is invading the world. Gloria and the Miami Sound Machine are not only cranking out great music, the machine is cranking out mucho dinero. Gloria is well known for her music, but singing and performing is only a small part of the Estefan Enterprises Empire. She has recorded more than 10 albums in both English and Spanish and they have sold over 60 million and still going. Estefan enterprises include restaurants, record production, TV production, talent management, song writing and soon the production of motion pictures. Here's why Salsa is invading the U.S. - 29 million people of Hispanic heritage are now living in the USA. Now, that's 11% of our total population. And, as we know the immigration of people from Mexico, South America and the Caribbean is in high gear. As a result, Salsa Music Nightclubs are springing up all over the country and are packing in not only Latin dancers, but Anglos as well. The Estefans' latest venture is Bongo's Cuban Cafe, now under construction at Walt Disney World in Florida. The couple has invested $5 million in the new restaurant which has 550 seats. When in full swing, Bongo's is expected to gross some $35 million annually. The Estefans are expected to get 80% of the projected $2.5 million in annual profits the restaurant will generate. As you would imagine, Bongo's will have a Cuban menu. It will feature such Latin specialties as Croquetas, Vaca Frita and Arroz Con Frijoles and much more. The restaurant will also have a souvenir shop featuring real leather jackets, t-shirts, fishing hats and many more items emblazoned with Bongo's logo. The couple also owns "Larios", a Cuban restaurant and nightclub that is located in the upscale area of Miami's South Beach Strip. Restaurants are only a portion of Estefan Enterprises. The Estefan Publishing Company grossed $10 million last year and Gloria's royalty income and their songwriting talents brought in another $7 million. On top of all this, Universal Studios has committed $10 million for Emilio to produce English language television programs with a Latin Flair. Gloria & Emilio also own Crescent Moon Studios, which is a $14 million recording studio in Florida. These divisions of Estefan Enterprises grosses about $3 million annually. And, their song writing and talent management divisions also bring in a hefty amount. Estefan enterprises has an estimated worth of $200 million. Pretty good for a couple of Cuban immigrants. And, with all this, Gloria & Emilio make time to raise millions for their many charities. It's true! The Estefan Enterprises are hotter than Salsa and they show no signs of cooling off.

The above information is taken from a dated source, as you can tell... But it gives a rough idea!
