Fna Super Summer Special
Megami-Hime
Luna-Megami’s Summer Super Special Hey Everyone! Now you can all address me as Upperclassmen Beth. Now that school is out and we have a whole 2 ½ months to screw around, we came up with a kind of celebration for surviving yet another school year. I present to you The FNA Summer Super Specials. Kid of like the Sailor Moon Movies, these specials don’t take place anywhere on the time line. You’ll have to bare with me on mine though. You’ll finish it and say, "What the hell was that!" My special will eventually make sense in the long run. =^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^= It was a good time to be alive on the saiyan home world of Vegeta. The planet was prosperous, the people were happy and everyone was proud of the royal family. King Astrix and Queen Serenity looked upon their only daughter with loving care and the people looked forward to the day when their princess would take the throne. Princess Luna was an extremely well brought up child, with the logical thinking of her father and her gracefulness and tenderness of her mother. Princess Luna impatiently played with a hem on her elaborate dress. Her father had allowed an audience with General Kakorott. Luna had hoped that he brought news of some sort of excitement but it was mostly about how peaceful the nations were. Queen Serenity and King Astrix listened intently as the General rambled on. Luna surpassed a yawn that wanted to be released for some time. Luna’s nursemaid and guardian, Cere stood behind the princess’s throne. It reminded Luna of Jamera flies and how they were constantly on top of a fresh kill. Queen Serenity gazed back at her daughter, giving into the boredom they both shared. Out of the corner of her eye, Luna saw a striking young man, in his 16’s and short purple hair. He was a servant, brought into this world in the castle and served there ever since. He stood between the open throne room doors, staring at her. Feeling the heat rising in her face she smiled and turned away. When she regained her composure, Luna looked back at the handsome man who smiled an awkward smile. Another servant, one of the older ones, came up behind him, pushing him. "Get back to work boy. The royal highnesses don’t want to see your sorry mug." The boy stumbled before slowly go about his business. Luna frowned in dismay. She hadn’t seen him much in the last week. Cere saw how fixated she was on the situation and nudged Luna’s shoulder. She spun her head around, giving her nursemaid an annoyed look before returning her attention on the general. =^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^= The Starlight room was Luna’s favorite room in the entire castle. The ceiling was a dark navy with white studs that symbolized planets and far away star. You only needed to point to one and it would display information about it. The only problem was she didn’t like it when Cere joined her. At the tender age of 21, Cere was only 7 years older then the princess but it seemed like she was older then her mother sometimes. "This star is Nublius. Most of it is surrounding planets are made up of gas but there are a few pockets of primitive life," Cere lectured as Luna tried to balance her writing utensil on her lip. "The most common life form is the mynock, a parasitic alien that has silicon based cells and finds nutrients from electricity." Cere bantered on. Luna let out a gigantic yawn. Mynocks and gas planets didn’t really appeal to her. She wanted to learn about ancient space battles and civil wars. Just thinking about all the adventure she was missing made Luna yawn again. In only a split second, she saw a hand dart around her mouth, coveting it with a strong but gentle grip. She squirmed for a second before she realized who it was. It could only be one person. "Luna, look over at the door. Once Miss Party-pooper turns her back, we’re making a brake for it," he whispered in her ear. She nodded, giving her silent approval, as he took his hand away. This was so familiar, as was his touch. She could feel his breath on the back of her bare neck. He had helped her escape the palace a number of times and the friendship grew into something more. "Now the system of Bocnroc is a system on the outer rim." Cere said as she pointed to a bright star. She turned her back, reading the data. A firm hand grabbed the princess’s wrist and nearly pulled her out of her seat. As fast and quiet as possible they made their way to the door. They exited and found themselves in one of the many hallways, lined with pillars. It wouldn’t be long before Cere would notice her absence. He stopped abruptly looking right then left. Veering right, he turned around the corner and pressed her in a nook between two pillars. Down the hall, Cere could be heard hollering out for the missing princess. He turned to look at the huddled princess. He was taken aback when she threw her arms around his neck. "Oh Trunks! You don’t know how happy I am to see you. You saved from the most boring lesson Cere has given me." Luna nuzzled his shoulder. Trunks was sure if anyone had seen them it would be a real spectacle, a regally dressed princess and himself in his black pants and sleeveless black shirt. Wrapping his arms around her waist, he relished the closeness they shared right now. The sound of footsteps coming down the hall snapped Trunks out of his daze. "Where not out of the woods yet," he commented under his breath. =^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^= "Trunks, not to question your judgement, love, but where are you taking me," Luna whined as he lead her by the hand through thick foliage. Her once done up hair now was littered with twigs and leaves. She was being blindly led into a place that was unfamiliar to her. "Have I ever let you down before. Besides it’s a surprise!" Trunks gave the princess one of his award winning smiles. Luna sighed softly in dismay. Ever since that fateful day when he had rescued her, she’d trusted his judgement, even if it did get them into trouble sometimes. It was the first time Luna had had the guts to leave the palace without any escorts. Striking by awe, she did realize that she had offended a extremely large toydarian. The burley creature was about to rearrange her face when Trunks intervened. Luna viewed Trunks as her only true friend, besides her hand maddens. He stopped abruptly, blocking her view. They’d stumbled into a grove of Sisle trees, their vines draping down creating a curtain. With a swift movement, Trunks swept his hand backwards, pulling the vines away. What was before Luna took her breath away. It was a pond surrounded by a mat of flowers. A gap in the trees provided a golden light that gleamed over the scenery. It was something out of a fairy tale. Luna mouthed a silent wow as she took in the atmosphere. "You like it," Trunks queried. He came to stand beside her. It was obvious that the princess was having a problem finding the words. His lips turned up in another smile. Finally she mustered up enough words to actually speak. "Um... Oh.. I mean..." She stuttered UN-princess like. "What I’m trying to say is that this is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen." Luna kneeled down in the floors by the pond. She gazed over the edge. Her reflection was clear in the still water and what it showed didn’t please her one bit. She was a terrible mess! Luna could imagine the look Cere would give her if she’d seen her in this state. Frantically, the princess brushed away stray hairs, trying to make herself presentable. Coming to crouch next to her, Trunks asked, "What’s the matter?" "I look TERRIBLE!!! My hair is falling out and everything." She exclaimed. "You look just fine to me. As a matter of fact, I like the twig fashion you have going on." He said as he pulled a stick out of her hair. Luna looked up at him with googly eyes, as a pink tint filled her cheeks. Inside her chest, she could feel her heart beat getting faster. "I like you just the way you are." Tears of Happiness began to form in her eyes. "Oh Trunks" she mumbled. Tenderly he brought a hand up to brush a tear away. Suddenly a high pitch squeak came from above, startling them. A yellow ball of fur came screaming down from an over head tree. The fur ball fell between the two, landing in the ruffles of the princess’s dress. More out of surprise then fear, Luna let out a little whimper. The creature unrolled it self, revealing a mouse like animal with brown strips and a zigzag tail. "Pika?" It squeaked. The rodent cautiously crawled up into Luna’s lap; it’s little nose sniffing everything in sight. "What is it Trunks?" Luna questioned. She brought her hand down little by little, testing the creature’s tolerance level. Sniffing her fingers, the rodent rubbed its head against her palm. "It’s a pikachu. They populate these woods along with their cousin, Raichu. Their pretty much harmless, except for the electric personality," Trunks answered as he stood up to dust himself off. Luna pet the pikachu under the chin, making it purr contently. "So you’re a pikachu, huh. We’ll you’re a cute little fellow. I think I’ll name you Artemis." In somewhat of a response, the pikachu jumped up onto her shoulder. It rubbed up against her cheek, making her giggle at the feel of its whiskers. Luna picked it up in her hands, holding it in a motherly fashion. "I think it likes you," Trunks commented as he looked up to the treetops. The sun had begun to set, indicating how long they’d actually been gone. "We’d better get going. Cere is going to have a fit if she can’t find you soon. Knowing her, she’ll probably have to whole royal guard out looking for you." =^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^= Luna had left Trunks on the outskirts of the Royal garden, but not before giving him a goodbye kiss. The look of surprise that was written on his face still hung in her mind. Trunks also promised to look after Artemis, both of them knowing that Cere would probably come after him with a broom if she saw him. Luna had mustered enough dignity and tried to make herself look somewhat more Princess-like rather then a gutter child. She strolled down the corridor, trying to make her way back to her room without being caught. "THERE YOU ARE!!!" A familiar voice yelled from behind her. The princess cringed at the scolding she was about to get. Slowly she turned to find Cere right on her tail. The nursemaid snatched out gripping Luna’s ear between her fingers. "That was the last time Luna. We’re going to go she what your parents have to say about this," Cere grumbled. =^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^= Screaming and hollering, Luna and Cere made their way through the hallway. Luna knew that the guards were probably all laughing at the sight. Cere had the look of determination in her eyes, it was that look that made Luna want to crawl into a very deep hole. They reached the massive doors, two guards posted on opposite sides. The one on the right assisted opening the door. The Queen and King had been talking to a person shod in the blackest black cloak. With the arrival of the princess and the handmaiden, the conversation halted. The black clad character turned in a fluid motion and made it's way to where Luna stood. The princess looked up to see if she recognized whom it was. It wasn't anyone she knew she thought, a matter of fact there wasn't really anyone in the darkness of the cape. Puzzled, Luna forgot all about Cere until she felt her pull on her earagain. "Hey let go! I told you.. NO I ordered you to let me go!" Luna struggled. Cere dragged her before her parents. With a forceful push, she released her ear, tossing her to the ground. "Old wench," the princess mumbled under her breath. She stumbled to her feet, tripping over the edge of her dress. "Your royal highness. This is the sixth time that Princess Luna has run of with out an escort. I have done everything in my power to bring her up properly," Cere said in a forceful tone. Luna rose to her feet. Leaping into her mother's arms, she turned to stick her tongue out at her protector. "Now Luna. There are people out there that mean to hurt us," Queen Serenity said tenderly. Luna wanted to tell her mother about Trunks and how she only felt safe when he was around, but she knew it wasn’t the time. "Promise me that you’ll never run off again. You are our only daughter and the heir to the throne. We were just informed that a whole city was massacred the other day. It was meant to hurt us. Promise me Luna." Her mother insisted. "I promise." =^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^= After what seemed like an ongoing battle, Cere had left the princess’s bedroom. Outside, Luna could hear the muffled voices of the guards outside her room. It was one thing to go against Cere but to go against her mother was another thing. Luna sat out on the balcony, contemplating things she didn’t understand. Her relationship with Trunks was just starting to bloom but it would have to stop. Just thinking of it made her stomach hurt. Slumping down so her chin could rest on her crossed arms, Luna gazed out at the scenery. The hillside was dotted with little lights from windows. She could just imagine what those common folk were doing now. If only her life was as simple as those folks were. Then she would worry about things like laundry, cooking and maybe a family. But it wasn’t that way and there were people out there she could help. The thought made her shrug. "Luna," someone hollered below. Startled, she looked over the railing. Trunks stood there with Artemis sitting on his shoulder. The pikachu had something in his but she couldn’t make it out. At the sight of the princess, Artemis leaped onto the ivy-covered wall, making his way swiftly up to the balcony. He came to sit next to her, dropping a hibiscus bloom from his mouth. Luna smiled at the little rodent, petting him under the chin. She looked back over the edge, seeing Trunks looking cautiously around. As if he could sense she was staring at him, he looked up at her. "Luna, meet me at the pond tomorrow. I have something to tell you," Trunks exclaimed before letting out a sharp whistle. Artemis’s ears twitched before he hurled himself of the balcony. Trunks caught him in his arms, running off before she could speak her disapproval. Luna let out a sigh of dismay before retreating back into her bedroom. What the princess and the servant didn’t know was they were being watched. Out from a shadow materialized the black cloaked figure. =^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^= Trunks ran through the forest with the knowledge of what he would tell his beloved princess. Artemis scampered only a few feet a head. All his pent up feelings towards Luna had finally gotten to him and he was going to confess everything to her. Trunks let out a whoop of happiness as he sped up his pace. "Pikachu!" Artemis mimicked the young man, jumping several feet into the air. Trunks let out a snicker at the rodent’s antics. Just meters away from where the pond was, a unbearable heat struck the two. Flames reached over the treetops as smoke enveloped them. "Luna," his thoughts were spoken out loud. Not worried about himself or his health, Trunks charged further into the flaming forest. He reached the pond rather charred but alive. Vulpix and Clefairy ran for their lives and Articunos and Pidgeots fled into the sky. Squinting his eyes, he tried to make out figures in the blaze. In the center was a dark tall figure, with something draped over its shoulder. Trunks shook his head, not believing what he saw. The thing on the figure shoulder was Luna! With a pent up rage, Trunks felt himself turn Super Saiyan; a stage all saiyan males reached when truly challenged. His once purple hair was now a spiky yellow and his eyes glowed green. "Let her go!" he growled as he approached the figure. As if not threatened at all, the cloaked character lifted up his hand, a blast of pure energy shooting out. Trunks through his arms in front of his face, trying to protect it. The shot hit dead on, but with enough will power, Trunks managed to stay standing. He panted, his wounds were bad but he had to keep going. Not seeing the second, he was hit by another blast. Collapsing to his knees, he began to feel the dizziness of a concussion. "Please leave her alone, I’ll do anything. Just don’t hurt her," he muttered as he tried to reach out to the figure in a last final move. =^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^= Luna-Megami awoke startled and in a cold sweat. The familiar feel and look of her room made her realize where she was. This wasn’t some stupid planet and she wasn’t a fourteen-year-old. She sat up in bed, looking over to her right. Trunks lay next to her, at the striking age of 23, sleeping a peaceful sleep unlike hers. Artemis lay on his chest, his emerald on his forehead gleaming in the moonlight. "Luna?" Trunks said groggily. He propped himself onto a elbow. The megami said nothing, rolling up against him. Surprised, Trunks wrapped an arm around her, bringing her in closer. He fell back into slumber with a small smile on his face. It was there that Luna fell asleep, dreaming the same questioning dream. =^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^==^-^= Hey I hope you enjoyed my Summer Super Special.
