"TIGGY"

(1981 - 1995)

A pet becomes part of your family and when you lose one you feel the hurt! My son Ryan and I had Tiggy with us for 14 yrs. What a good kitty he was, so loving, a friend when we needed one and bad when he wanted to be bad.

Than one day he became ill. We took him to the vet and he told us Tiggy had kidney problems. We tried special food ect., but nothing helped. It got to the point where he wouldn't eat at all. We knew we had to put a stop to his suffering.

My son grew up with Tiggy. He knew I didn't have the strengh to take Tiggy to be put to sleep. So Ryan took him and held him until everything was over. We both cried because it hurt us to see our friend go. But the suffering is over and now he's our angel kitty. He will always be here in our hearts!! We both miss him to this day and will never forget all the happy times we had together.

After Tiggy passed on, I said no more cats!! I went for two years with out one, but it just wasn't the same. So one day I went to a shelter for abused kittys and adopted Ned. He's so wonderful!! I thought Ned needed company so a couple weeks later I adopted Alex. What a sweetie he is..and sooo BAD!!! They help fill the void that Tiggy left behind. From now on, I will always have kittys in my house, it is just not the same without them!!

Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle Autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush, Of quiet birds in circled flight.

I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die.
