Forty Acre Plantation fishing lakes (depths up to 16ft) are set in the peaceful surroundings of 132 acres of woodland. The main lake (3 acres) stocks a good range of fish, including Common Carp, Mirror, Barble & Cat Fish.
On site Ladies & Gents flushing toilets

Largest recorded fish this season:
Common Carp: 36 Ib, Mirror Carp: 27 lb
Cat Fish: 70 Ib.

Tickets Available:

Day tickets - 7 days a week - 7am till 6pm
£10 max. 2 rods or £15 for 3 rods

Night Fishing Tickets - 7 days a week - 7pm till 7am
£12 max 2 rods or £17 for 3 rods

Fishing Rules

 

Forty Acre Plantation Lake

Rules:

  1. Barbless hooks to be used at all times.
  2. Bent hooks, fixed leads and stainless hooks are strictly NOT permitted.
  3. No nuts of any sort.
  4. No excessive ground bait.
  5. No litter (including waste line and cigarette ends) to be left on the banks - please use car park bin provided.
  6. No keep nets or carp sacks.
  7. Landing nets must be dipped before fishing using the free on site dipping facility.
  8. No litter to be left on the banks or car park – please use bin provided
  9. The use of unhooking mats is compulsory.
  10. No open fires – BBQ are accepted.
  11. No unattended tackle.
  12. An adult must supervise children under 15.
  13. No excessive ground bait.
  14. Nets MUST be dipped before fishing
