1. Read the chapter on appreciation. This is just a short synopsis of the chapter. It is important to have a copy of the book and do your reading assignment!

2. Last lesson you made a list of your husband's traits that you had a hard time accepting, now you are to make a list of all the traits that you need to appreciate. Don't forget to look for virtues beneath his faults. This list is his "better side."

3. Express appreciation in words, to him, outloud. He needs to hear you say it. Pay special attention to his care about earning a living and providing for you and your family.

4. Record anything favorable in your journal, (and share it with us if you can.)
