Ok, now that I can think just a little straighter I can tell you a lot more. Ok, so we got to Muchmusic yesterday morning at 6am, cuz we left a little earlier than planned, due to my "MUM!! I can't wait let's go now!!" So, we went earlier and we were the first ones there. We weren't even there 10 minutes when the Breakfast TV crew came out and flashed their bright cameras in our faces and they're like "who are you here for?" and I was so hyper and excited already so I'm like "SILVERCHAIR!!!!! because they rule!!" and they we like "ok, who are they?" and I was like "oooooo they're from Australia!! and I love them!! and they rule!!!" So they were like ok thanks. So we were on TV live at 6am, how nice we must have looked. So anyway we were waiting maybe a half an hour before 2 other girls showed up, they were really nice so we spent most of our day with them. Then at around 9am a bus load of teenie boppers came, oooooohhhhhh man I dislike those people. Just so you know, I may seem like a teenie bopper but really I'm not, they stand around and yell "fuck me daniel" and shit like that right in front of them, and I know they hate it, so I'd never do it for one and two, it makes you look slutty and retarded. But that's just my opinion, and by the way all these girls are like 12, 13 and 14, one 17 year old too. So pathetic really. And they were wearing stcikers that said "I want you in my pants" across their crotches and boobs (the ones who had some that is), one girl was wearing a way too low cut shirt and had a stickers right above her boobs with the word "Ben" and a downward arrow written there, like HOW stupid is that?? God, grow up! Anyway, I wasn't gonna let the boppers piss me off too much, silverchair know who the REAL fans are anyway, they can probably tell just by looking. So, at around 10:30 a small crowd had assembled, and security came out and started to tell us to move back and give some door room, then it got kinda bad because the boppers started to argue with us about who was here first, as far as I see it there was NO argument because we were there first and everybody there knew it! Anyway that got settled when the security came out and told the boppers they were full of shit because they even knew we were there first. Hahaha, that was sweet. So then the security came out with these little green Much wristbands. He put one on everyone who was there and told us to go away and don't come back until 3pm, if we did our wristbands would be cut off and we wouldn't be able to go inside. So we went to the Eaton Centre with those other two nice girls and hung around there for like 4 hours just getting dry from all the snow and freezing rain we'd been standing in for the last 2 and a half hours. Then we went to eat, but I couldn't because I was too nervous and I'd throw up. So we waited and waited, and hung around in Tower Records for a while. Then we went back to Much and waited in Starbuck's coffee place across the street for the rest of the time left which was like a half an hour. So..... finally at 3pm we ran over there and beat the boppers back!! HAHAHAHAHA!! Little teenie's can't run for shit! Well, neither can I but this was silverchair, so I ran on pure love alone and pure hate for the teenies cuz I couldn't bear the thought of them in before me. So, we had to wait in line there for like another half an hour, then they finally let us in, we had to take our coats off and sit down for the rules. So we did. We took our cameras in and they put us right behind their chairs and we standed there for 5 minutes..... AND THEN..... SILVERCHAIR WALKED IN!!!!!!! First Chris, who walked right by me and smiled and I got a picture, then came Ben who looked really good and then.... Daniel came in and he actually touched my left arm as he brushed by me, I was shocked. So, now was the time to press that button on the camera like never before. Anyway so I go "Daniel" (not screaming teenie bopper way, but just nice so I could get his attention) then he turned back and said "hi" and smiled and so I go "Can you smile for a sec" and he smiled and goes "sure" so he gave that cute little teeth smile and I took a pic, then he nodded his head and looked back facing the window again. Then I got Ben to turn around and he smiled for me and then I got a pic of Chris but I'm not sure if that one turned out because I might have just gotten the side of his face because since he was right in front of me it was kinda hard for him to turn around the whole way. Then I took more pictures of basically the sides of their faces. Then the interview started and we had to stop taking pictures. Then you know, they talked and answered the questions. Then they went to commercial, then I actually got up the courage to tap Ben on the shoulder and ask him if I could shake his hand. He turned around and shrugged, smiled and grabbed my hand and shook it hard. I was like "wow, um I just touched Ben Gillies" Yup, I was in a daze, total daze. So then they did the rest of the interview and I took more pictures right as it was finishing (not on TV, it was already done on TV) and then the security guards made us leave, so we waved "Bye" and left. Unfortunatly they had no time for a quick signing session because they were going straight to the Edge. So I left my presents for them on a table and the guards brought them back for them before they had to leave. So we got out there and ran down a taxi in less than 3 minutes, then we took it straight to the Edge to wait there now. We went in the Eaton Center for something, I really don't remember,my friend Katie wanted something, anyway we came back out and ran around to the front of the Edge's trailor. Then at around 5:30, a white van pulled up and silverchair got out, people were screaming (not me, still in shock) then they got into the trailor, luckily they weren't hurt, you wouldn't believe these stupid fans. Ok, so they were in there now and weren't coming on for like what I thought would be another hour or so, so I went to the back of the trailor and took a picture of the van they came in and the liscense plate on it. LOL. Then we waited and finally they opened the window on the front of their trailor, teenies charged and pressed up against the window screaming "I wanna fuck you daniel/ben/chris!!!!" "I love you daniel/ben/chris!" and you could see their facial expressions and they weren't impressed. Anyway, so they guards cleared all the boppers off the stage thing they had set up so everyone could see and take pictures. So we stood there, front row taking more pictures. Then Ben looked right up at us, pointed and waved, kinda nodding his head towards me and Katie, I was like totally wanting to cry my eyes out inside but I didn't because I didn't want them to see me cry. So he kept kinda laughing and waving at us for the next maybe 20 minutes, Daniel looked scared out of his mind, I felt really bad for him cuz I know he hates all this kinda shit. Actually during the Edge interview he looked up from the ground maybe twice if you were lucky. and he goes to the DJ, "umm, how strong is the glass??" LOL, poor Daniel. Then unfortunatly they had to leave, they got out of the trailor and walked around to their van covered by body guards. I got more pictures of them getting into the van and then I looked back and there were these MENTAL girls who had opened the back door of their van and lunged at Daniel and grabbed his necklace and you could see his head jerk back and his desperate attempt to try to grab the necklace to stop himself from being choked, I was so mad at those girls, like if they really truly cared you'd think they'd be a little more careful and respectful towards them. Anyway so I got out of there as soon as I could and ran down the street to watch their van leave, as soon as it turned the corner and was out of site. I kinda broke down and balled my eyes out for like an hour because I'll never ever see them like that again, they were just gone, I cried and cried out of happiness and saddness, it was really hard to watch them go, yup that was the worst part of the day, watching them go. But they stayed at a hotel called The Merit and they left the next morning for New York City. So then, since they were gone I called my mum and told her to come get us, actually it took me a while to be able to speak again, then I called my mum. Overall it was the best day I have ever lived, I've always told everyone I was gonna meet them one day and look, I did it, I met silverchair, they are very friendly, and the most genuine people I've ever met, ever. And I hope Rachel Perry, that one who was interviewing them at Muchmusic does a little more research on who she is interviewing next time and she should watch what she says a little more, she blurted out that Daniel Johns had psychological problems on national TV and he seemed very quiet after that, I am very aware that she said she was only joking, but if someone just tells the world you're psycho I'm sure you wouldn't take it as a joke. I would also like to mention that not all the girls that have a crush on a band member that were there were considered "teenies". I have recieved an email from someone who was at the interview who was offended by what I had to say. I would like to apologize to her and a couple of her friends because I feel that calling them "bitches" just because they like a band member is unfair. But I do not apologize what-so-ever to the girls with the "I want you in my pants" stickers, that IS a bopper thing whether you want to admit it or not. If you really knew anything about your beloved Daniel, Ben or Chris you would know that they don't appreciate that kind of stuff, being a fan of a person is fine but when you stand around and make yourself look skanky then they don't appreciate that. I'm am sincerely sorry to the girl who emailed me. silverchair rules forever and you all don't forget that! I apologize for the lack of Chris in the pictures, it's just that he was directly in front of me at Muchmusic and it was hard for him to turn around just so I could take pictures, so instead of bothering him I accepted the fact that I could not get that many of him. I have a few wicked ones of him already that my friend took, now I just have to have Fontaine scan them for me again, so be patient. Also most of the Edge pictures are of Daniel not because I'm a teenie but because I could only really see him there since it was a long trailor.. ok! Teenies suck ass!
