The Family Name is ‘God’ -
The Blind Men and The Elephant by John Godfrey Saxe It was six men of Indostan To learning much inclined, Who went to see the Elephant (Though all of them were blind) That each by observation Might satisfy his mind. The First approached the Elephant, And happening to fall Against his broad and sturdy side, At once began to bawl: "God bless me! but the Elephant Is very like a wall!" The Second, feeling of the tusk, Cried, "Ho! what have we here So very round and smooth and sharp? To me 'tis mighty clear This wonder of an Elephant Is very like a spear!" The Third approached the animal, And happening to take The squirming trunk within his hands, Thus boldy up and spake: "I see," quoth he, "the Elephant Is very like a snake!" The Fourth reached out an eager hand, And felt about the knee. "What most this wondrous beast is like Is mighty plain," quoth he; "'Tis clear enough the Elephant Is very like a tree!" The Fifth who chanced to touch the ear, Said: "E'en the blindest man Can tell what this resembles most; Deny the fact who can, This marvel of an Elephant Is very like a fan!" The Sixth no sooner had begun About the beast to grope, Than, seizing on the swinging tail That fell within his scope, "I see," quoth he, "the Elephant Is very like a rope!" And so these men of Indostan Disputed loud and long, Each in his own opinion Exceeding stiff and strong, Though each was partly in the right, And all were in the wrong! The Moral: So oft in theologic wars, The disputants, I ween, Rail on in utter ignorance Of what each other mean, And prate about an Elephant Not one of them has seen!
I prayed to God to whisper His name to me. The name He gave me was ‘family’. God has given me the gift of Spiritual Wisdom.
Keeping the above poem in mind. And after praying and studying the world of philosophy and religion.
God = family. The family name is ‘God’. And God is LOVE because that is what holds a family together and makes it work. There can be nothing above or before LOVE because it is the root cause of everything. It is the glue that holds a family together and the grease that keeps it moving smoothly. Faith is saying YES to Love and obeying it.
The nuclear family (father, mother, and son) is the image of God.
And He says - about Jesus -
[Mark 9:7.19] And a cloud overshadowed them, and a voice came out of the cloud, "This
is my beloved Son; listen to him."
The American Indians have the White Buffalo Calf Girl, who testified in regard to God saying, she represented the Spirit of Truth (for example). The Holy Spirit is always a witness for theTRUTH.
[John 14:6] Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the TRUTH, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me.
Jesus and others in the New Testament addressed the Holy Spirit as 'He'.
[John 15:26] But when the Counselor comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness to me;
Wisdom is the Mother (whose family name is God) of all things. She is known as the Goddess - the Shaper of all things. This is the Holy Spirit.
YHVH is pronounced Yahveh and Yihvah. Jivah = "female tongue, fire, and life" in Sanskrit. Ge = "live" in Sanskrit. Those who worship Ge/Gaia say it means "earth". I believe the intention of the name is - Earth as in ALL THAT EXSISTS - Existent - the TRUTH, fact, reality. In Hebrew it is - Yah = "existent" (Yah same as Yes). "Ge" is approximately the same as "Ju". "Ge" is the short form of Gaia - Mother Earth/Mother Nature. Wisdom in scripture is consistently referred to as female. A child lives a happy healthy life if he listens and obeys mom, as read in Proverbs. Ju = "union" in Sanskrit. This is intercourse - intimate communication that brings and results in life. This is the Word of God. This is Jesus, the Truth...
[Sir 1:2-8] The sand of the sea, the drops of rain, and the days of eternity--who can count them? The height of heaven, the breadth of the earth, the abyss, and wisdom--who can search them out? Wisdom was CREATED before all things, and prudent understanding from eternity. The root of wisdom--to whom has it been revealed? Her clever devices--who knows them? There is One who is wise, greatly to be feared, sitting upon his throne. The Lord himself CREATED wisdom; he saw her and apportioned her, he poured her out upon all his works. She dwells with all flesh according to his gift, and he supplied her to those who love him.
[Gen 1:2] The earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the
deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the face of the waters (as a mother hen brooding over her nest).
[Mark 1:10.24] And when he came up out of the water, immediately he saw the heavens
opened and the Spirit descending upon him like a dove;
[Luke 1:35] And the angel said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God.
The Holy Spirit fused and became one with Mary to beget Jesus. Where the Holy Spirit is - Mary is there also.
And she says - about Jesus -
[John 2:5] His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you."
[Isa 61:1] The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good tidings to the afflicted; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
His name is Jesus because that is the name God gave Him:
[Luke 1:26] In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee
named Nazareth,
[Luke 1:31] And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call
his name Jesus.
[Acts 4:12.24] And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under
heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
There are other names, but none claim the power of salvation and eternal reconciliation to God.
The name ‘Jesus’ means ‘I Am Salvation’.
Jesus is God because that is His family name. And He is One with the Father and the Holy Spirit in the name of God. This is the Trinity. And God is not complete, One, accept as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit because their name is God.
[Job 41:5] Will you play with him as with a bird, or will you put him on a leash for your
maidens?
[Job 41:13] Who can strip off his outer garment? Who can penetrate his double coat of
mail?
[Job 41:18-20] His sneezings flash forth light, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the dawn.
Out of his mouth go flaming torches; sparks of fire leap forth.
Out of his nostrils comes forth smoke, as from a boiling pot and burning rushes.
His end is sure:
[Rev 20:10.12] and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and
sulphur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and
night for ever and ever.
And he says - about Jesus -
[Luke 22:3.5] Then Satan entered into Judas called Iscariot, who was of the number of the
twelve;
[Mat 27:4.7] saying, "I have sinned in betraying innocent blood." They said, "What is that
to us? See to it yourself."
[Mark 3:35] Whoever does the will of God is my brother, and sister, and mother."
The Will of God is to deliberately choose to do good -
[John 15:12] "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
[Rom 13:10] Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
[Wis 7:1-30] I also am mortal, like all men, a descendant of the first-formed child of earth; and in the womb of a mother I was molded into flesh, within the period of ten months, compacted with blood, from the seed of a man and the pleasure of marriage. And when I was born, I began to breathe the common air, and fell upon the kindred earth, and my first sound was a cry, like that of all. I was nursed with care in swaddling cloths. For no king has had a different beginning of existence; there is for all mankind one entrance into life, and a common departure.
Therefore I prayed, and understanding was given me; I called upon God, and the SPIRIT OF WISDOM came to me. I preferred her to scepters and thrones, and I accounted wealth as nothing in comparison with her. Neither did I liken to her any priceless gem, because all gold is but a little sand in her sight, and silver will be accounted as clay before her. I loved her more than health and beauty, and I chose to have her rather than light, because her radiance never ceases. All good things came to me along with her, and in her hands uncounted wealth. I rejoiced in them all, because wisdom leads them; but I did not know that she was their mother. I learned without guile and I impart without grudging; I do not hide her wealth, for it is an unfailing treasure for men; those who get it obtain friendship with God, commended for the gifts that come from instruction.
May God grant that I speak with judgment and have thought worthy of what I have received, for he is the guide even of wisdom and the corrector of the wise. For both we and our words are in his hand, as are all understanding and skill in crafts. For it is he who gave me unerring knowledge of what exists, to know the structure of the world and the activity of the elements; the beginning and end and middle of times, the alternations of the solstices and the changes of the seasons, the cycles of the year and the constellations of the stars, the natures of animals and the tempers of wild beasts, the powers of spirits and the reasonings of men, the varieties of plants and the virtues of roots;
I learned both what is secret and what is manifest, for wisdom, the fashioner of all things, taught me. For in her there is a SPIRIT that is intelligent, HOLY, unique, manifold, subtle, mobile, clear, unpolluted, distinct, invulnerable, loving the good, keen, irresistible, beneficent, humane, steadfast, sure, free from anxiety, all-powerful, overseeing all, and penetrating through all spirits that are intelligent and pure and most subtle. For wisdom is more mobile than any motion; because of her pureness she pervades and penetrates all things.
For she is a breath of the power of God, and a pure emanation of the glory of the Almighty; therefore nothing defiled gains entrance into her. For she is a reflection of eternal light, a spotless mirror of the working of God, and an image of his goodness.
Though she is but one, she can do all things, and while remaining in herself, she renews all things; in every generation she passes into holy souls and makes them friends of God, and prophets;
for God loves nothing so much as the man who lives with wisdom.
For she is more beautiful than the sun, and excels every constellation of the stars. Compared with the light she is found to be superior, for it is succeeded by the night, but against wisdom evil does not prevail.
And she says - about Jesus -
[John 2:5] His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you."
All Glory and Honor are yours Almighty One, forever and ever, Amen!
